Chapter 5 - Crisis

When the four men saw William's cold gaze, they didn't know why the four of them had goosebumps. They felt like they were being stared at by a beast, the instincts in their bodies were telling them to run away from here.

“Damn it, quickly kill him! Don't let him get out of here alive!"

A handsome man named Ethan among the three shouted with a gloomy expression on his face. To him, running away from someone who had no prestige in the outside world like William would be a shame for his future.

“Son of Fire Battle Soul! This is the main bloodline of the Lux Family!” Lucas and Ethan's personal guard also said in amazement when they saw the Battle Soul that came out of Ethan's body.

Within the Lux Family, only a few people from the main bloodlines could produce such a Battle Soul. The Spirit Warriors in the southern continent called it the Son of Fire Battle Soul.

Why did the Spirit Warriors of the southern continent call it that? It was because it was influenced by one of the abilities possessed by the Son of Fire Battle Soul. One of his abilities is that he can control the fire element freely. Even this Battle Soul user could instantly incinerate his enemies with just a glance at them, which was why the Lux Family became one of the three Great Families in the Feysac Kingdom.

William also knew information about the Lux Family's Son of Fire Battle Soul, it all came from the memories of the original owner of this body. But William never would have thought that he would meet someone with such a Battle Soul so soon.

After saying that, William Marionette Battle Soul began to control Billy Battle Soul to attack Ethan. William couldn't prolong this battle any longer before he was exhausted.

Billy who was clad in black armor rushed towards Ethan.

At that moment, Billy's body which was speeding towards Ethan began to be consumed by the sea of flames.

When Ethan saw his attack managed to burn Billy's entire body, he started laughing wildly, "Hahaha, feel it!"

"Is that so?" William involuntarily grinned widely when he saw how proud Ethan was.

Then a large man began to emerge from the sea of fire. Part of his black armor had been scorched by the fire attack, and part of his skin was already covered with burns.

But unfortunately, even though Billy's entire body was engulfed by the flames, it didn't delay his movements at all. Billy was still rushing forward like a huge vehicle that had lost control.

“Damn it, I thought that Billy would snap out of your control when he was in such excruciating pain. You, block his attacks for me!”

Ethan, who was filled with anger, immediately kicked the personal guard beside him to block Billy's full attack.

Even though Billy was riddled with burns and a portion of his Battle Soul ability disappeared, it didn't mean there was someone who could withstand his full attack.

Then as Ethan had expected, the moment Billy full attack hit the body of his personal guard, it instantly sent him flying backward causing the originally cracked wall to collapse in the blink of an eye.

Then Billy's body immediately fell to the floor with his body covered in burns, no one knew whether Billy was dead or just unconscious.

Then just as William's vision was distracted by Billy's battle, he suddenly felt a gust of wind coming from behind. The instinct in William's body sounded that there was going to be a dangerous attack on his heart.

William also swiftly shifted his body slightly so that the sneak attack didn't hit his vital point.

William was knocked to the side and started to vomit a mouthful of blood.

"Damn it!" William raised his head and saw a familiar man, the person who had just attacked him was Lucas.

Now that Lucas appearance had changed, his body was no longer human but a white tiger in humanoid form. Behind his body, there was a shadowy figure of an ancient human whose clothes were made of white tiger skin. Then in the right hand of the ancient human shadow figure, he was holding a white dagger made of tiger fangs.

“Transformation A Battle Soul similar to Billy?"

William immediately wiped the blood that was on the corner of his mouth, and slowly started to stand up while looking at Lucas who had already transformed with his Battle Soul.

“I never expected you to dodge my attack!”

Lucas licked William's blood on the blade of his dagger, he really became a different person when he transformed into a humanoid tiger. Lucas initially seemed like a level-headed person, but after using his Battle Soul ability he became like a beast.

Ethan walked over while glancing at Billy's body who seemed to have fallen unconscious, he acted as if victory was in his hands.

William sighed as he glanced at the door of the room and the broken wall.

When Lucas and Ethan saw that direction, the expressions of the two turned extremely gloomy.

“Lucas, you blocked that place! Don't let him escape!"

Ethan pointed his finger at the collapsed wall of the room, then he ran towards the door of the room so that William couldn't escape alive.

William who saw the movement of the two immediately smiled broadly, "Heh, it's really easy to control the movements of a smart person like you!"

By the time William was in a corner like this, it was common sense to try to escape. Especially after the two of them were fooled by William's glance, it was all in his calculations.

A surprise suddenly occurred in front of Ethan's eyes, he saw a huge shadow figure was already in front of his eyes. Billy who should have been unconscious was suddenly in front of his eyes.
