Jane, in squatting, watched the lifeless body of the last werewolf she slaughtered. Satisfied with the parish of the beasts she labeled as her enemy, Jane got up to her feet; still in her pose, her palms stretched and her eyes scanned them incredulously. It was not her ability to kill that astonished her but the blue glow that outburst through her hands which stuck her in stun. How could an ordinary human girl like her possess magical power?
