Now that we had made our agreement, we needed to move on with our day. I pulled away from Andy suddenly and jumped down to the ground. I looked up and saw Alpha lean his head over the side of the treehouse and look down at me. "Are you crazy?"

"No! I have just been sitting for too long. How about a race?"

Alpha looked curious but decided to go with it. He jumped down to the ground right beside me.

"What do you have in mind?"

"First one in the shower, wins." I flicked up my eyebrows and Alpha looked intrigued.

"What does the winner get?"

I hadn't thought that far ahead, but I knew that I had to think of something.

"How about this? The winner gets to plan an entire day of activities, and we have to do them all."

Alpha thought about my proposition and started to nod.

"I actually really like that idea. Alright, you're on."

Alpha and I lined up next to each other toe to toe. I was actually really nervous, I knew that my speed wouldn't fail me, but I haven't seen Alpha in action yet. I may have shot myself in the foot on this one.

"On the count of 3. 1...2...3...go!"

I pushed off with all the force that I had and zeroed in on the house in the distance. I was so focused on what was in front of me, that I didn't notice that I lost sight of Alpha. I glanced over my shoulder and saw that he was a few meters behind me. I whipped my head back and kept my gaze straight ahead. Suddenly, I heard thundering footsteps coming up behind me. I almost stopped in my tracks when a large, black blur invaded my peripheral view.

That mother fucker, he cheated! Alright, all bets are off. I knew that Everest could help me catch up in no time.

Alright girl, let's do this.

Everest took over quickly, and I felt my large paws press into the soft ground beneath me. Everest closed the gap between Andy and I quicker than I gave her credit for. I was right on his tail and when I got the chance, I shoulder-checked him. Everest giggled when we saw him stumble a bit. He looked over at me and I could see Apollo's mischievous side coming out. I was able to cut him off and pressed him further into the ground underneath me. I kicked up fresh grass and dirt as I bounded towards the house. I could feel Apollo close on my tail, so I pushed Everest harder than before. I saw the fire pit approaching quickly, and I prepared to leap across it. I pushed off my back legs and flew over top of the stone and ash. I landed softly on all fours and picked up speed once more. I was so close to the house, I could see pack members milling about. Just when I thought that I was about to win, the big black blurb reappeared. I saw him in my peripheral vision as he zoomed right past me, and he jumped up onto the back patio. He trotted in a circle with a smug look on his face. He plopped down onto his hind quarters and I saw his tail slowly wagging behind him.

You ass! You hustled me.

Apollo's smile got wider, and he was panting from his exhaustion. I slowed down and paced up to where Apollo was sitting. I plopped my ass down and leaned against his shoulder. My exhaustion took over quickly, I was running on adrenaline and was even more tired than I thought I was.

Well you dirty cheater, I need a shower and I want to take a nap.

Okay, I'll have an Omega bring you some clothes.

I took the clothes in my mouth and stepped behind a nearby tree to change. It was just an oversize t-shirt and running shorts, but I was so comfortable.

"I'm going to head upstairs. See you later?"

Andy nodded his head, "I have to touch base with my dad quick. I'll meet you up there."

I headed for the elevator and pressed the fourth floor button. I gave Andy a quick wave as the doors closed in front of me.

It was crazy how comfortable I felt in this apartment. I didn't feel this connected with my childhood home. I stripped off my clothes as I walked to the bedroom and headed into my bathroom. I turned on the shower and put it as hot as I could handle. I grabbed my face wash and exfoliating scrub.

I pulled on my hair tie, and my waves fell to the middle of my back. I brushed my fingers through it as I stepped into the shower. I instantly relaxed when the steaming water hit my skin.

I gave myself a thorough scrubbing and buffing. I got lost in the thought of Andy and I in the woods. My mind kept circling back to the first time that we were together. I could feel his hot breath in the crook of my neck, and the familiar tingle that followed. I subconsciously touched my mark and a smile came to my mouth. It was sudden but it felt right. I wanted so badly to recreate that night, but I wasn't sure if he would want to after our conversation earlier. I tried to clear my mind and focus on finishing up in the shower.

I shaved and moisturized before turning off the water and slipping into a towel wrap. I secured the Velcro at the top, above my breasts. I grabbed my leave-in conditioner and spritzed it through my hair. I ran a brush through the tangles and threw my hair up into a French twist. I put my lotion on and brushed my teeth. I was so in the zone that I hadn't heard footsteps coming in through the front door. I knew it was Andy, so I kept my guard down. I flipped my head over and started to towel dry my hair.

I gasped when I felt Andy's strong hand on the small of my back. I could feel the breeze from my exposure and felt tingly.

"What are you doing?" I said with a giggle.

"Nothing, pretend I'm not here."

Andy ran his fingers up and down my inner thigh, causing my body to shudder from his touch.

"That's kind of impossible when you're touching me like that."

"I know, I could smell you from downstairs."

I was surprised, I didn't think that I was that aroused by him. True, I was thinking about it in the shower, but it felt normal to think about him like that. I guess he had more effect on me than I thought.

He slowly lifted the towel above my hips, exposing me. He rubbed my right cheek and gently kneaded at my skin. He inhaled deeply and ran his fingers along my wet slit. My knees shuddered at his contact. I momentarily stopped drying my hair from his distraction and looked over my shoulder.

I let my body submit and quickly ripped at the Velcro of my towel and it fell down to the ground. Through my legs, I could see Andy's shorts around his ankles. I closed my eyes and let it happen, my soul left my body and I gave into the pleasure and let my lungs sing. My moans quickly began turning into curse words as the sound of skin slapping got louder. I steadied my stance and held tight for as long as I could. Alpha slapped the top of my ass cheek and I let out a scream as I reached my climax. Both of our bodies were trembling as we came down from our high. My joints were stiff as I stood slowly. I waddled over to the toilet, so I wouldn't drip on the floor. Andy pulled up his basketball shorts as I adjusted myself.

"I'm sorry for that, I just couldn't help myself. You are so intoxicating to me."

I rolled my eyes at him, "We're supposed to be friends, remember?"

He flashed a smile in my direction. "We are friends, friends that like to have a lot of sex." He said with a wink.

I got up and washed my hands next to him at the sink. "Well, I can't say that it wasn't enjoyable." I took a pause to gather my thoughts, I didn't want to say the wrong thing.

"It's just... What is this? Between us..." I tried to choose my words carefully.

I caught him off guard. I could see the wheels turning in his head. When he didn't answer, I continued.

"I just don't want emotions to get in the way. I don't think either of us have a steady footing on what this is. I just want to be as transparent as possible."

"I know, I'm sorry. I know that there is so much more to this than just s*x. If you want, we can take s*x off the table for the time being."

As much as I didn't want the s*x to stop, I knew that he was right. s*x would definitely complicate things. I thought of all the possibilities ahead of us but reluctantly agreed.

"You're right. Maybe we should just put a pause on it for now."

I reached down and grabbed my wrap, so I could secure it around my body. Once I was covered, I reached out my arms and Andy walked right into them. I closed my eyes as he held me for a few minutes in a firm hug.

I heard him sigh against my cheek, "This is nice." I felt him smile and agreed with him.

"We can still hug if you want," I said with a sarcastic tone. He kissed my temple and let me go.

"I should let you get dressed. I'll see you in a bit?"

I nodded my head and smiled shyly.

I slipped into another matching set but threw on a crew neck sweater shirt. I grabbed my white Adidas and headed downstairs.
