RUN MANDY RUN

i stared into his eyes , his eyes were literally begging for a kiss.
I would have gladly kissed him if I at least knew how to or if we weren't surrounded by so many people.
Even the guest and students had all stopped to stare at us .
i had never gotten a boyfriend before due to the fact that everyone made fun of me . my only relationship with boys was me being their prey and them being my predators
Blake's grip on my waist was tight .
He couldn't wait any longer it seems as he leaned in closer and held my face in position for a kiss.
I started to panic , my eyes wide
"this can't be happening"I screamed from within.
I closed my eyes tight trying to process what was going on .
i thought of what to do next . I needed an escape plan.
I could feel his breath on my face as he leaned closer and closer .
Then I felt his lips press against mine .
I snapped.
Without giving it a second thought I push him away with everything that I got . i quickly turned around and doing what I did best I ran .
running as far as I could and as far as this God forsaking heels could take me .
All I could hear was "run Mandy run " and that was what I did .
I payed no attention to the stares from the passerbys. my main aim was to get as far from these people as possible.
After running for quite a while I was beginning to run short of breath. my heart rate had increased drastically.
I needed to rest .
I spotted a building up ahead .
I ran towards it .
just a few steps close to the building,i started to feel dizzy. I couldn't see clearly and my head was spinning.
nevertheless ,I was still running.
I looked down and I could see the ground getting closer and before I knew it I blacked out.
Becky's POV
I was indeed surprised when my brother introduced Mandy as his girlfriend.
he was no playboy so I knew he was being serious.
he had whispered that he liked her when I first introduced them .
I was really happy for them both as the relationship would be perfect.
I hated Blake's ex girlfriend cause she was arrogant and spiteful. I was the happiest when he announced their break up .
he hadn't gotten into any other relationships after that and that gave his female fans some hope .
he had asked Mandy to kiss him in front of the media . I was delighted to know he was making it official.
I've always known Mandy to be a very shy girl so I was hoping she would do as he asked.
I kept my face away from her so that she wouldn't ask me to get her out of the situation.
I wanted this kiss to happen as much as my brother did
I was shocked when I turned and saw Mandy running.
I turned to look at Blake but he seemed more surprised than I was .
I quickly ran after her, calling out her name but she didn't answer nor stop running.
Then I heard footsteps behind me , it seemed like a stampede and when I turned I saw my brother running after Mandy and behind him were the nosy reporters.
"ahh those people, can't they just stop "I thought."they just love drama" I scoffed.
Blake ran past me without looking at me , his speed seems to have increase and he looked focused . I turned to see Mandy almost falling to the ground but Blake was there right on time to stop her from hitting the ground hard.
He picked her up and carried her bridal style into the building. I followed soot and so did the reporter .
he walked into one of the rooms and laid her flat on a table . I was about entering the room too when I noticed that the reporter were still hot on our trail.
I quickly turned and shot the door on their faces .
"This people can't be serious"I said
The reporter didn't relent, they ran to the windows to watch from there
I quickly ran towards Blake and Mandy .
She was lying so helplessly on the table .
her breath was faint .Blake checked her pulse and he seemed to take a breath of relief.
"is she ok?" I asked looking up at him .
"she will be " he answered
he left us for a while and later returned with a bottle of glucose water and another bottle of water.
he opened the bottle of water and pour a little into his left palm and sprinkled it on Mandy's face .
she didn't come around so he went on to do it again .
suddenly the door opened and I turned around enrage thinking it was one of the reporters but only to see Stephen, one of Blake's teammates.
"Hi Becky" he greeted.
I flashed him a smile replying "hi".
he stared at Mandy on the table and then looked at Blake who was still trying to wake Mandy .
"coach wants to see you" he said.
"tell him I will be with him in a while" Blake answered without lifting his gaze.
"you have to come now, he says it's urgent" Stephen replied.
Blake signed
he stood the bottle of water on the table close to Mandy.
he handed over the bottle of glucose water to me .
"try waking her up and give her this once she comes around"
with that he left with Stephen.
I stared at him as he left and closed the door behind him. he looked really worried and concerned.
I heard movements close to me and when I turned it was Mandy . she was waking up.
"Are you ok?"I asked helping her sit up .
"I think so though my head feels heavy and I feel weak" she replied.
I picked up the bottle of glucose water from where I had placed it and opened it.
"here, drink this"I said helping her drink from the bottle.
she took a few sips and withdrew.
"are you sure you are ok?" I asked again.
"yes " she replied with a smile.
she tried getting down from the table and I helped her.
"how did I get here ",she asked standing.
"Blake brought you here after you fainted earlier " I answered.
she looked at me and smiled a little .
"he really does like you " I said out of the blue .
she blushed.
"what happened? " I asked suddenly after a few moments of silence
she looked at me confused.
"out there , why did you run?" I asked .
she looked down at the ground,
"I panicked" she replied.
she had a sad look on her face .
"why? "
" everything was happening too fast I didn't know what to do " she explained.
I could understand her reasons.
Blake caught me off guard too with the sudden announcement but well that's Blake for you, always full of surprises.
"do you think I will make a good girlfriend?" she asked suddenly.
I looked at her , her eyes were still staring at the floor
I felt the need to laugh at her question but I had to hold it in.
of course she would make a good girlfriend, she is the sweetest person I know and I know alot of people. Any guy would be thrilled to have her as a girlfriend.
"I mean with the stage fright and all " she added .
now her question made sense to me .
my brother is a media personality, his girlfriend shouldn't be afraid of being Infront of the camera.
" yeah that could be a problem" I said
"but don't you bother your pretty head I have the perfect solution to that " I added patting her on the shoulder.
she grinned .
BLAKE'S POV
I was running up some flight of stairs with my teammate Stephen.
my mind was so uneasy .
I wondered if she has woken up yet and if she was okay .
I needed to be with her right now but I had to attend to my coach.
I had just met her but still it felt like she was always a part of me .
she looked so cute and adorable. she had wonderful set of brown eyes that spackled .
she wore a black silk dress that complimented her fair skin . she was curvy and a little chubby.
Becky had told me alot about her even before i met her . she always brought tales about her whenever she comes home for the weekend
I had asked to be introduced to her on several occasions but Becky said she stayed in another city .
I was thrilled when Becky said she was transferred to my school along with Becky .
when I finally saw her , she was more than I imagined. she was the true definition of beauty.
when Becky told me that she liked me I was beyond excited that was why I wasted no time in pronouncing her my girlfriend but maybe I was too fast cause she didn't seem to like the idea so well. maybe that's why she ran away from the kiss, everything was happening too fast and she couldn't take the pressure.
I needed to talk to her but that would have to wait for now.
I needed to talk with my coach.
I signed as we got to my coach's office and Stephen opened the door .
