A distant voice sounded like whispers to my ears, my mind a thousand miles away. I can hear my mum speak but I can't make out the words. It was just as if I was numb to my environment . But who wouldn't be? After receiving the news I received yesterday, my mind has been a mess on its own.

Today is Wednesday, which means I have just to days to provide thirty million dollars for the project or else, it will be considered a breach of contract and I'll have to pay for damages with almost fifteen million dollars, not just that, D's Enterprise will also pull out from the project. When I signed that contract, what I had in mind was an easy loan from the bank and excessive profit from the project which will enable me pay off the debts of The Grey's.
