CHAPTER THREE

Peter and his wife were rushed to the hospital, the nurses and doctors were moving up and down for the state of emergency. Few hours later the doctor emerged from the ward, "Doctor tell me what happened to my friend and his wife" Steven asked impatiently, holding the doctor's right hand with both his hands if his life depended on it. "Your friend is still on coma state...""What of his wife" Peter quickly said "Am sorry we lost her" the doctor said and quickly finds a way to leave his front, to his office.

Steven walk inside Peter's ward and sit on the chair beside his bed, "Peter please wake up you are my only friend, remember, your daughter, she needs you more than I do" Steven said rubbing his thumb on his friends unmovable hand. After some minutes sitting with his friend he stood up to go and see the doctor "Peter let me check if your parents are around." When Steven was about to open the door to the VIP ward he was in, he heard a noise from the computer instrument that was connected to him. Steven quickly ran back to his friend's side, on getting there he realized his friend had opened his eyes "Peter, how are you feeling? Should I call the doctor?? Where are you feeling pain???" he asked impatiently. Peter removed the oxygen that the doctor connected his breath with, before speaking. "I don't know a ruthless billionaire also has a weakness" Peter said jokingly "you better get well quickly, because you own me three time drink in a three different place", "what for" Peter asked ignorantly "for my stress of course" Steven answered back, "how was my wife's health" he asked staring at Steven intently as if he will know what he was thinking doing that.

Steven swallow, hard before he could said anything Peter beat him to it "she is dead" Peter said rather than asked again, they was some minutes with silent before Peter stopped the unwanted silent "put me to a call with my daughter" Peter said staring at all the painting of the wall to the interior decoration of the room. Steven quickly bring out his phone to call Peter's daughter, he unlocked his phone and decided to search for her name before remembering that he don't have his daughter number, "am coming I think her number is not here let me quickly check my other phones outside" Steven said quickly and rush out of the ward quickly as if something is going to happen in the next minutes if he did not rush out and call his daughter on getting out, he collide with the doctor "go in and treat my friend, he's awake" he command not bothering to look at the face of the doctor he was speaking to so he will not see how disturbed he was, he compose himself well before walking away in front of the doctor, to get her number.

After about ten minutes, when he was about to reach his ward a doctor come out and just then he had a familiar voice from behind "Mr. Steven are you not..." the person was cut short when Steven noticed that the person talking to him was the doctor he expected that just treated Peter ""get hold of that doctor" Steven said and the security in front of Peter ward quickly chase the doctor that just come out of the ward. While the other doctor and Steven run inside, on getting inside, they meet Peter gasping for air, the doctor quickly do their best but it is already late because Peter eventually dies.
