Chapter 9

Sirahi hadn't known she had passed out until she had awoken to cold yet warmth surrounding her. It also wasn't until she felt something hard poking against her lower back when she snuggled closer to the warmth unconsciously. When she realized she was backed up against what felt like a warm wall yet hard, she opened her eyes and realized she was in the dark. She tried to address her surroundings but most of it was foreign to her and she tried to move away from the hard warm wall that she had back up into. When she did, what she could only assume was arms, wrapped tighter around her and pulled her back to the body that owned them. She froze as she tried to regain her thoughts and recalled Jamis taking her away and they had teleported somewhere. Everything was a blur afterwards and she had to assume was in bed with him. Trying again to move without disturbing him, she slowly moved away only to be met with resistance. "Keep doing that and you'll have my d**k somewhere you don't want it to be." His low growl came and she almost jumped. His breath was on her neck and gave her goosebumps from the proximity. "Where are we?" She asked without turning around or moving an inch if he decided to do good on his promise. She didn't need a repeat of the other night when she herself was so confused on what it was he thought they were. "My home." He said and she could hear the yawn that came after. "Where is home? Why'd you take me from my home?" She asked trying again to break free but his arms should have been made of steel from the way she couldn't get loose. "In the tundra. Siberia to be exact." He stated not budging and she was wondering if he actually enjoyed the position that they were in. He was still naked against her and she was only in a t-shirt with some shorts. "Si-Siberia? What the hell! Take me back!" She told him wondering how much time had passed. Sirahi was supposed to be packing for her two week music video shoot. If Sandra finds that she mysteriously disappeared, her credibility as an Artist would crumble. She couldn't miss or be late for the shoot. "Look I don't even know you but what right do you have that you come into my home and take me away?" Sirahi said as she dug her nails into his fore arm in an attempt to get away. He didn't so much as flinch or show her any satisfaction as to pain but he did let her go and she hopped out of his bed quicker than light. She tried to find her way out and judging from the light that was creeping through the shut blinds she found the door and opened it to be welcomed to the Tundra. The tundra, other unfamiliar faces, and some wolves walking around. The first thing she noticed was that she was freezing cold and she had no shoes. Cursing, she closed the door and waited for a few seconds before opening the wooden door again as if her surroundings would change. Instead others were looking at her now and some laughed. Sirahi stared in horror as she thought of her options and when Jamis came up behind her and shut the door, thankfully with what looked like sweats and a thin sweater, she glared at him. "Take me home. Now." She told him between clenched teeth and he ran a hand through his short cropped hair. They were standing in very dim, barely noticeable light but she could see the blues of his eyes as if they were glowing. His massive height had her craning her head to glare at him and he was big. From his toned, muscular frame to the stern look on his face. He in some ways was handsome as if David Beckham and Henry Cavill had a love child. But if he hadn't just abducted her and tried to freakishly claim her for his own, she would have liked him or they would have gotten along on different terms. "We have things to do first." He said as he threw her over his shoulder once more and went back into the direction of what she had to guess was the bedroom. "We are not doing this again!" She screeched and flailed her arms at him again. He plopped her onto the stale mattress. She glared at him as he crouched onto the bed and trapped her between his arms. His face was a mere inches from her and she was almost afraid that he would kiss her but instead, he said, "The mating ritual is tonight, we need to get you ready." Sirahi begrudgingly took a shower in his home, a small one bedroom, one bath place that was more smaller than a studio apartment. It looked semi makeshift if not handmade but it no way a shanty. It was not exactly what she would call home and it looked as if no one stayed too often. After the shower, she was given clothes to wear, what looked like native clothing and a headdress and she shook her head as she figured out how to put the garment on. Jamis had left to get ready at his parent's place and she glared at her own reflection in the mirror. She didn't recognize herself and her brown hair was a knot of a braid and she had it quickly finished when a knock at the door sounded. The door opened and she heard footsteps when she came face to face with a graying yet stunning woman who stopped when she looked at her. They both sized each other up in a way when the older woman introduced herself. "I'm Jamis' mother. Sila. It's a shock to know that you're not...well She wolf." She said as she sniffed the air around them. Her hair was dark and long and though there were gray streaks, the woman looked wise and sophisticated. "I'm not sure I recognize what you are." She stated as she took a step towards Sirahi.  "Siren." She said as she stuck a hand out to the woman and she took it to give a shake. "That is new. I'm used to the shifters, vampires, and demons around these parts. I'm glad to have you here." Sila said as she reached down for the headdress to help Sirahi put it on. "I would say the pleasure is mine but..." The older woman laughed as she fixed the head piece on her and shook her head. "Those males won't leave a woman in peace. I get it. My mate is the same way and after kids you would think he'd become less...territorial. Most Wolves are like that unfortunately." She explained but that didn't change her situation or excuse Jamis' behavior. He still had taken her without her permission and she wasn't even sure when she'd get to go home. He said they'd talk after the ritual but she didn't trust him a bit regardless of how handsome he was.
