Chapter 19

1565 Words
When Sirahi had woken up the next morning, she found herself alone and naked in bed. Her body ached wonderfully and it took her a few before she recalled the events that unfolded the night before. In a s*x crazed hype, the both of them went at each other's throats in a high and yet she remembered having the best orgasms since, ever. The night was filled with mind blowing, toe curling orgasms and her body felt sated and even though she wanted to lounge in the bed, she had a flight to catch. Oddly enough, her partner in crime was missing and she was f****d when she saw the damage that they had done. How was she supposed to explain the holes in the wall away and the mess they had made. Getting up, she found Jamis in the next room over. He was making himself a cup of coffee with his bag packed and his eyes went to her as he brought the mug up to his lips with a slight smug. She wanted to knock it off his too handsome face. "We need to talk." She said and he agreed. "What the hell was last night. As of recent you have been making my life complicated and I don't understand." She told him as she went to make herself a cup of coffee as well. "You did something to me." Was all he said and she shook her head in disbelief at him. "I don't even know what you mean." She said. "Whatever you did, your voice was in my head and that was all I could hear. Your haunting voice wanted me to do things. Wanted to drive me mad." He said accusingly as if she had always known and she he never told him. They were saved by any more questions when there was a knock on the door. The door then opened and in came Sandra as she took a few steps before stopping looking at the damage and her eyes were wide. *** A few days later Sirahi's jaw dropped when she opened the door, getting quite used to the quiet and not having her mate around. The scene in the hotel room played in her head again and again and she tried to forget and leave that part out of her memories but yet her mind kept replaying the scene as if she had a movie scene on repeat. Yet she recalled how he had taken her with a force that was beyond all imagination and brought her to climax one after another until they both had blacked out from exhaustion. He found what he needed and was sated. Though she had questions, she had ignored him the rest of the flight home until two days passed. There was no word, no scent, nor sound from him and she was quite annoyed if she admitted it herself.  So when she found not only Sandra but the man who haunted her dreams entering her home, she was utterly confused. "Woah, what do you think you're doing?" Sirahi asked Jamis as he stalked through the door with Sandra right in front of him leading him into her home. Before leaving she was giving Sirahi another look before saying. "You owe me this for the s**t you two pulled in the hotel." As she shook her head, and walked right back out the door leaving the two of them alone. "Moving in. That's what." Jamis told her as he stalked into her home as if he had been there millions of times before. "No. No. No. Who gave you permission to? This is my home." She told him and Jamis didn't seem like he wanted to budge. "I did. And your manager agrees." He told her as he glanced at his surroundings, carrying just a very large duffel bag over his back. "No. For what reason?" She cried looking at him getting comfortable in her home as she threw her hands up at him in disbelief. He had put his duffel bag down and started going about the room as if he was looking for something. "One. I'm your mate." He said glancing and moving, his heavy boots echoing on the wood floor. "Two. You have a deranged stalker following you." He said stopping suddenly and turning causing Sirahi to almost run into his very defined chest. She looked up at his towering height as she took a stance that was meant to be defensive as she threw one arm over the other. "Just because we're mated for some odd reason doesn't give you the authority to come crashing into my life. I'm not weak, I can take care of myself." She told him and he looked down at her as his dark lashes that framed cold blue cobalt eyes watched her. If she wasn't who she was, she would have shrunk into herself from fear. The man was moody and dark. He took one step forward, closing the already small distance between them and she was so close to taking a step back. "I never said you were weak. What is it that you are truly afraid of. Me?" He asked, his voice growing low and husky. He did something that made her weak in the knees and she wanted to jump his bones as if she had a fever and he had the cure. "No. I'm not." Sirahi replied losing her defense and it took so much effort to not move back. He had taken another step forward as he said, "Or are you afraid of what I would do to you?" He practically growled and she felt goosebumps rush her body. She willed herself to not let her n*****s tighten but she knew that they were most likely peeking through her bra. What his tone and voice entailed was what he had done to her before. The memories of their shared time together.  He had taken her to a whole different plane when they were together. She may have been the Siren but when they were naked and wrestling one another, he had her in a spell that made her want to do whatever it was that he asked. And that frightened her. Never had she given anyone that control over her or her life and she wasn't going to let an alpha male do What he wanted. Even if he was just the most delectable man she had laid her eyes on regardless of the fact he was a wolf in men's clothing. He stared down his nose at her as he crossed one arm over the other and raised a brow, something brewing in his thick head. "What?" She said taking a defensive stance as he looked at her as if he was studying her. "I'm actually steaming furious." He said and Sirahi only stared at him in confusion.  "And do tell why you would feel that way." She said. Jamis shook his head and he took a deep breath. "I'm very pissed with all the secrets you keep. Why didn't you tell me you had a stalker?" He said quite calmly and she was somewhat surprised at his leveled tone. She expected him to go batshit caveman, probably tossing her over his shoulder to hide her in some cave while he killed the man. "Well it's not really your business." She said and saw the tick in his jaw before he took a step forward, but hesitated and stepped back. "It is my business. As much as you want to deny it. I'm your mate. I can protect you." He said and then added. "Considering it's my right as I am the man in the photo too." There was a smug look on his face as if he was proud to have been caught and Sirahi didn't want to believe he'd taken pleasure out of that idea. She was at a lost for words because technically he was right. There wasn't any denying the fact that he was the other party and he had his own privacy invaded as well. Regardless of the fact whether or not he was comfortable in his nudity. "You don't think he captured your other form do you?" She asked and hoped not. If the stalker did, they'd have to contact the Source Public Affairs Counsel and then the s**t show that would follow after already had her wanting to bury herself in a deep hole. Nothing could get worse than that. All she wanted was to make her way in the world and do what she loved and that was sing. But the more she thought about it, the more she was thinking that Jamis was right and she should quit while she was still upcoming. What reason was there for her to try something different with her life instead of being a typical brood mother to his pups or her sirens. Her head went to thoughts of being a mother and at her age, she couldn't fathom throwing her young life away for something she wanted down the line. She glanced back at Jamis who was watching her intently and she wasn't even sure if he answered her question or not and quite frankly, she didn't want to know. Her dream of being famous was starting to crumble bit by bit and it was because of him.
