It was forty minutes later when a semi dressed Jamis walked towards his home that he found the celebrations had gotten quiet. There was still dancing and festivities going on but there was something else in the air. He found young teen pups sneaking off in the distance, some mates hiding in the brushes to sneak a quick moment alone, and children hanging onto their mothers. A small crowd had surrounded his door and he wondered if his Siren had done something outrageous that there needed to be an audience.
Others seem to be in a trance as they didn't look at him but through him into possibly nothing. When he hit the front room he could hear a melodic humming coming from his bedroom and he put his ceremonial garb down and walked through his home towards the voice.
Inside his bedroom he found Sirahi sitting on the edge of his bed brushing her hair with her fingers as she hummed an almost haunting melody. "What are you doing?" He asked as she stopped and almost jumped when she saw him. She glared at him as she wore the t-shirt she came in and a pair of borrowed sweats that were too big for her that she probably found in one of the drawers. "Where the hell did you go?" She asked him and he shrugged.
He had taken a run with his brother and he was pissed. After shedding the confines of his skin and clothes, they ran until they were both out of breath and sweating. They didn't talk much but they didn't have to. Jamis had spent good time finding her and though it hadn't taken him long, regardless of what she thought, she was his. It angered him that she would be so indifferent towards him when their powers and essence was on the line. It was the reason for their being and what they needed to do in their life. The fact that she was choosing her existence as a meek human almost disgusted him. But after the small bits of talk he had gotten from him brother he understood a little bit. She wasn't a she wolf nor was she like him and that was what he had to understand.
"I'll take you back but under a certain condition." He said and she blinked her eyes at him waiting for him to say. "You promise you have to accept me." He said and she looked confused for a clear second. "And then?" She asked.
"When we come back for the next mating ritual, you have to accept me. You have to know I'm not willing to lose my wolf." He told her and Sirahi scoffed. "I'll try. Give me a year and we'll see. But you can't expect me to one day to just out of the blue tell you that I've accepted you. Be like the common man and court me, it takes two to tango just like it takes two to mate. And don't go caveman alpha wolf on me and drag me off to your wolf cave. This is the twentieth century and I don't do that. For some reason the fates mated us together and give me good reason to believe they weren't f*****g with us." She said and Jamis understood. "I'm not an Alpha." Was all he said and Sirahi wanted to walk away from him but stood her ground.
As he walked away to clean himself, he pulled out his cellphone and texted a friend. "You could have fooled me." She said as she started to fold up the ceremonial garb and piling it on top of the other neatly on the table.

"I might have to start charging you. And I see she's not thrashing this time." The same man from before who had teleported them to Jamis's home had showed up before them. After he had finished taking a shower, the other man showed up.
Sirahi crossed her hands over the other and rolled her eyes at him. She just wanted to go to her home and it didn't take long for them to port. She was taking a nose dive into the unknown once more when the man put a hand on her shoulder and she was rolling in circles. There was no way she was going to get used to this.
When everything stopped spinning and she knew the hard ground wasn't going anywhere, she hoped the nausea would go just as quickly as it came. When the familiar setting of her home and yard came to her, she was glad to be back. She wanted to kick both the men out so she can go inside and forget everything that happened to her. The other man left as he nodded towards her and she waved him goodbye sarcastically. When Jamis turned towards her she stopped him with a hand. "Not now. I just want to go inside and sleep. Later." She said and even though it looked like he wanted to say something, he nodded. "I'll be back."
Sirahi started towards her home and found the door unlocked. She took a deep breath as she entered her living room and took a whiff of air. When she smelled a familiar scent she knew she wasn't alone.
"Where the hell were you?" Sandra asked as she came out from the back room as if she had been hiding. "And who were the two macho men you came with. You know girl I never judge your lifestyle but you didn't want to share?" Her friend said and Sirahi didn't even know where she wanted to start. "Is there a reason you're here?" She asked and Sandra flipped like a switch from full blooded female to manager. "That's all you have to say? You were gone almost two days and were flying out the day after tomorrow. What the hell happened." She said and Sirahi sighed. "I'm too tired to even think. Can this wait?" She asked and Sandra dug into her purse. "This showed up at my office yesterday afternoon."
She tossed a Manila envelope towards Her and she opened it and couldn't believe her eyes. It was a photo still of her and very compromising photos. Though the quality of the photos weren't the best but it was fairly obvious that she was topless in front of her glass door with a dark figure on the other side and the next photo of them again in the dark and obviously going at each other's face. Her legs were wrapped around his waist. Even though the photos were dark, grainy, and slightly pixelated, it was obvious what they were doing and Sirahi froze. She knew it was her, there was no doubt about it. That was the night her and Jamis had mated the first time. If they had photos of this, what other photos did they get?
