Marie lay still in bed watching Cory sleep. She could hardly believe she was waking up to him and smiled at the memory of the magnificent evening they had together. He was so intense during their analysis review and seemed to be very attentive and hung on her every word. She loved the way he fit right in with the entire group. He had a knack for getting along with everyone, including Harry.
She decided to roll slowly out of bed and start the coffee when she felt a hand lightly pull her back against his side. “Where do you think you"re going?”
Marie smiled and looked directly into his dark brown eyes. She loved how his stubble created a shadow around his mouth, and his tousled hair looked perfect. “I was just going to put on the coffee. I forgot to set the timer last night.”
