They were married. Finally. And it was all without the pomp and ceremony of a typical human ceremony. Just two people promising to spend the rest of their lives together. Nestled comfortably in her new husband’s arms, Jane smiled as he strode through the corridors of his childhood home. Single story, its low ceilings and white plasterwork were rustic and a world away from the elegance of the palace but she didn’t care.
