“Karryl! Karryl, wait!” Jane called out after the swiftly disappearing figure of the Latharian warrior. She’d jumped out of the carriage almost before it had stopped, almost trampling Kenna in the process. Throwing a quick apology over her shoulder, she set off after her quarry. For a big man, he moved fast, those long, leather-clad legs eating the distance.
