Anger flowed through me, as the vampire sprung to his feet and dashed out the room after her. Heat flowed through my veins, and my pulse leapt at my wrist. My hand gripped his arm that was around my neck, and I jerked it at an awkward angle. Crack. I lifted him off the ground and tossed him into the wall.
Before he could gain his footing, I had my hands wrapped around his neck, as I shoved my foot into the back of his kneecaps forcing him to his feet. I snapped his neck and tossed his limp body to the ground.
Something had happened to me. Pure energy flowed through my vein. I jumped out the window they had destroyed. Once my feet hit the ground I dashed toward the woods. The trees all blurred together as I broke through them and halted to a stop when I saw the vampire looming over
