“Hey, you two, wake up.” Claudia heard a childlike voice call out. Opening her eyes, she saw Lucia right in front of her. She also noticed that Victusene can hardly be seen anymore, only a small silhouette of it remained.
“So we’re that far already huh?” She said in a sleepy tone.
Looking to her side, she noticed that she had fallen asleep on the shoulder of Lucas, who has yet to awaken. She sat up straight in a jolt. Embarrassed for how close they were and for being seen.
“Hmm? Is it dinnertime yet?” Lucas said as he opened an eye and yawned.
“Not yet, but Rue said food is already being prepared.” Lucia said, holding several strips of meat. “Here. You can have these for now, I already ate the rest.” She offered.
The pair took a piece each and began chewing on them.
