Chapter 8: Forbidden runes!

I whisper something and heard the wolf assign to Adam that the subordinates of the crown Prince took Adam with them and left his other ten companions with the wounded wolves in the woods.

They are on their way to the east castle.

He said they killed some of the enemy but the other five are skilled in fighting and nearly lost their life in battle.

That monster why did he took Adam away? Did he see through me? I let my guard down.

I'm in deep realization on what will happen next when I saw my father returned from the battle with his men. His body full of blood and he look weak.

"Father! Are you alright!?" I said while searching for wounds in his body,

"I'm fine, this is not my blood. The King of the west are badly injured. " his reply made me imagine the battle that took place.

"Father what are you thinking? " I asked when I saw his deep frown,

"The battle between the south and the west castle already reached the higher ups in the central region, Im afraid they'll ask for a big compensation. " my father said with a deep sighed,

"Let's rest first father, let me take you inside and freshen up first, I'll go talk about it when your done. "

I said as I lead him inside the castle that's surrounded by a wall of metals, heavy and unbreakable metal. All the castle in four directions have this metal wall a safety precaution of the central region for us. Even if there's an immeasurably vast of land and an extensive trees before the city reached the castle.

And its up to us on how we strengthen the barrier inside and out. Two servants came to help Panny inside.

I let my father rest first in his room then I made my way back to my room thinking about Adam in deep frown.

'Sha! where is he? '

I felt the struggle of my wolf I used my ability to occupy her mind, I closed my eyes and murmurs something after that when I opened them the scenery changed. I'm using her shell right now, looking outside the western castle there's a huge force sorrounding the castle visible only in wolf's eye.

That's why I felt her struggle there is a hidden item inside the castle to cause this force, it sucked her core energy.

'A forbidden runes! I can't believe they can hide this from the central region! '

I felt my wolfs energy weakening.

'Sha! hung in there! Get out of here first. '

I came back to my body and opened my eyes.

'Despicable! how can I save Adam now! '

I need fathers help, I freshen up and change for my casual white long dress that made me look like a little white lotus pair with a white veil that covered half my face entirely.

Even our servants never looked up at my face they all bowed down when they hear me coming out of my room. Only Panny can enter my room and can look up straight in my face , I treat her as sister, we grew up together with Adam and trust only her in this castle besides my father and brother, ofcourse Adam too.

She had to rest that's why I had to go to fathers study alone.
