The beginning

*knock knock

I let my daughter wipe her tears first before I respond,

"Come in! ",

Cally my right hand subordinate opened the door.

"Your majesty! The crown Prince of the western direction delivered a letter that is notarized by the central region, and.. " he hesitated first and took a glimpse at my daughter,

" Speak! " I ordered.

I saw my daughter turned stiff in hearing the news her eyes dull looking lifeless, my eyes darkened, then I slammed the table hard,

"Ridiculous how can he ask the central region for my daughter! " unable to catch my breath and my body keep shaking in anger.

"Your majesty! It says that this letter is not for negotiations or else the young Prince life.. " Cally couldn't continue and even I know the consequences of not following this order because the central region granted the request and if we didn't follow, destruction will be twice as much.

Even the west King Oscar is in critical condition now, if he dies that ruthless crown Prince will be the new King of the western direction.

I turned to look at my pitiful daughter, her lifeless eyes starts to shake and her face turned pale instantly.

I knew ever since she was a child, she liked Adam the most that's why I asked Queen Amelie for his youngest son to stay for my daughter and even secretly arranged a marriage proposal when she turned 18. And she did last week, how can this be a cruel fate.

I guess that simple childhood like grow deeper now that they spent more than ten years together.

I can't deny the string of pain I'm feeling right now, not because of this battle but my body keeps shaking at the thought of Adam in that demon's hand. It's terrifies me!

"What prophecy are you talking about father?" I turn to look at Uncle Cally and he looked guilty, "Uncle Cally what is father talking about? Why did you cut him? "

Father's lip tightly shut, I added, "I have the right to know what is going on! Why no one is talking to me! "

Uncle Cally pluck up courage to speak, "Princess.. " before he could finish father interrupted.
