📞 Yes mum.

📞 I'm sorry I couldn't drive you to school myself, I had an emergency case in the office, don't be mad at mum alright?

📞 No mum, I am not mad, I understand. Did you sort the case out?

📞 Yes Princess, thanks for asking.

📞 Don't mention mum.

📞 Do you like your new school?

📞 It's great mum, I really like it here.

📞 How about your roommates? Have you seen them? Do they seem nice?

📞 Uhm.... Yeah.... They seem very nice, don't worry about me, I will be fine.

📞 I trust you princess. Remember to be a good girl and don't ever forget that mum loves you more than anything in the world.

📞 I love you too mum. I love you so much and I'm gonna miss you.

📞 I'm missing you already my girl. Stay safe. Good bye.

📞 Bye! Kisses.

I dropped the call and smiled at myself, I love my mum so much.

"Hey newbie! You seem like a momma's girl." My roommate finally teased.

I smiled and nodded briefly.

"I'm Nicky by the way, it's nice meeting you momma's girl." She teased again.

I was happy she finally warmed up to me. I smiled at her and answered, "Same here."

"Uhm... I'm sorry you had to see that earlier."Nicky added.

"It's okay." I replied as I began unpacking my bag and after a while, the door swung opened and another lady entered, she must be my second roommate.

"Hi Nicky" She greeted staring at me.

"Welcome babe." Nicky responded and she noticed the other lady was staring at me.

"She's the newbie who would be sharing our room." Nicky added.

The lady walked closer and sat on my bed, she stared at me for a second and asked, "Why are you so beautiful?"

I smiled and answered, "I wonder why too. I'm Bella by the way, Bella Winston."

"Wow! A beautiful name for a beautiful lady." She complimented.

"I'm Carly." She added.

"Nice to meet you Carly." I said smiling.

"Same here." Carly responded and went back to her bed.

Silence then filled the room as my roommates and I attends to our stuffs.

Nicky was pressing her phone while Carly seems to be writing something down in her notebook and I was still unpacking.

I think Carly is more friendly compared to Nicky but, no matter what, I pray the three of us gets along well and live comfortably and happily.

After I was done unpacking my stuffs, I tied a towel around my body and went to the bathroom to freshen up. I came back to the room and dressed in a simple gown.

"Hey Bella, let's go grab some dinner." Carly called and I smiled.

"Nicky? Won't you come along?" Carly asked.

"Of course, I'm coming along." Nicky answered raising from her bed.

The three of us walked out of the room and walked to towards an eatery. We sat and ordered for our prefers, we talked as we ate.

We talked about school, they explained a whole lot of things to me and we also had some random discussion, it was like we were getting to know each other.

They were not bad anyways, they seem like cool girls and it's just a matter of time, I'd get familiar and get along with them.

Bella

Just like a dream that fades away after waking up, a week ran out quickly. If you ask me to summarize my first week experience in Texas University, I'd call it Hectic.

My beauty is also a factor that is contributing to this. Anywhere I go to, people offered to be friends with me, both male and female, it's a whole new experience for me.

The only good thing is the fact that my roommates and I are getting along really well and fast except for the fact that we don't belong to the same department.

Carly and I are in accounting department while Nicky studies Mass communication, so, Carly and I spend most time together unlike Nicky.

As much as people wants to be friends with me, I didn't give anyone of them a chance, and some people are beginning to call me names.

Some calls me a book worm because I attend all my classes at the right time without skipping anyone. Some says I'm arrogant and pompous because I think I am the prettiest but I didn't mind them, I don't give a damn.

Carly and I were done with our classes, we were heading to the field to call Nicky so we could all go back to the dorm together, that has been our norm.

We got to the field only to find Nicky in the midst of some guys, they were drinking as they gist and laugh.

"Hey Nicky!" I called.

"Hi Babes." Nicky greeted waving at us.

"Nicky, we got to go now." Carly said.

"Slow down girls, why don't you join the merriment?" Nicky asked as she took a sip from her can beer.

"Wow! Nicky! You never told us that the famous Angel of Texas University is your roommate." A guy said smiling and looking at me.

"Hey Mason, she's not in your league alright? She's a momma's girl." Nicky stated and they all bursted into laughter.

"What are you doing Nicky?" Carly asked fixing her gaze into Nicky's.

"Oh no! Don't get me wrong, I was only trying to put him in his place." Nicky defended.

Amongst all of them that was drinking, there was a particular guy who sat and was pressing his phone. I only saw his side view but he also had a can beer in front of him as well as a park of cigarette.

"C'mon Nicky! I'm not comfortable here." I said as I glanced at the guy one more time.

"C'mon Nicky! I'm not comfortable here." The third guy mimicked me sarcastically.

Nicky immediately gave him a slap at the back of his head and said, "Liam, grow up, will you?"

Nicky gulped a good amount of her beer and dropped the can giving the three guys an high five one after the other.

"Bye Damian!"

"Bye Jason!"

"Bye Harry!"

Harry? That's a nice name! Why does someone

who has such a nice name smokes and drinks? Well, it's none of my business.

"C'mon babes, let's go home." Nicky said jolting me out of my thoughts as she put her arms around Carly and I shoulders.
