JEREMY I have been hearing rumors here and there that an Angel is now a student of our school, I thought the rumors where baseless or it has some kind of exaggeration not until I set eyes on her myself. I was at the library reading, my head was bent, it focused on the book I had in front of me but I was distracted by the sound of a knock on my desk. I raised my head only to see in front of me an Angel in human's clothing, she's far more beautiful than how she was described. A beauty that makes my mouth wild opened and it won't close up, a beauty that made me lost all sense of control and drool over her; a charming and bewitching beauty! "Hi!" I heard her said to me smiling. Watching her smile seems like she took my breath away and I am choking, I think you should call the emergency line in case I stop breathing. "Hi!" I managed to reply. "Carly told me you're the students representative, I just wanted to get to know you in case I need your help." She said still smiling without realizing that her smile was enchanting me. "Yeah.... You're free to ask me for help whenever." I replied. "Oh! That's so nice of you. Thanks." She appreciated. "I'm Bella by the way, Bella Winston." She said stretching forth her hand towards me for a shake. I took her hand in mine and responded, "Nice meeting you Bella, I'm Jeremy Dennis." We shook hand for few seconds and let go. "Can we be friends?" I heard her asked and it seemed like I didn't hear right. Is she really offering to be friends with me? But I heard she didn't give chance to be friends with anyone else except her roommates; I guess I am lucky. "Jerry?" She called jolting me out of my thoughts. "Oh! I'm sorry!" I quickly apologized. "Of course! I'm honored to be friends with an Angel." I added smiling shyly. "Rule number, don't make me uncomfortable by joining the rest of the students to call me an Angel, I won't be comfortable with such a friend. Just call me Bella." She said still smiling beautifully. "Oh! I see." I answered obviously flustered. Why do some people says she's full of herself? To me, she seems cool and friendly unlike what people says about her. "I will see around Jerry." She said jolting me out of my thoughts. I watched her walked out of the library after she waved and smiled at me. I'm actually not a type that keeps too much friends but I'd be willing to keep this one for some reasons I don't really know. Feeling on top of the world, I wrapped up my activities in the library and went back to the male dorm. BELLA The second weekend, I packed a small bag and bided my roommates goodbye. I need to go home for the weekend because I have missed my mum so much. I walked down the school compound happily heading towards the exit gate, I can't wait to see my mum. When I got close to the entrance, a car zoomed in driving at quite a speed. The force at which the tires of the car speed on the ground made a good amount of water splashed all over my clothes. Argh! Who is this fool? He or she couldn't even stop to apologise? I knew it had just stopped raining and the ground has water which hasn't really dried up yet but, isn't someone driving supposed to drive carefully when there are water all over the ground? Argh! I'm all wet and my dress is ruined! Would I have to go back to the dorm to have a change of clothes now? How Annoying! I stood still looking at the car that just splashed water on me, it came to an halt some meters away and the driver of the car stepped out, it was a guy. I kept trying to get a clear picture of who the guy really is but then I suddenly felt a jacket being worn on my shoulders from the back. I quickly turned around and I found Jerry behind me with a cute smile. "I got you covered!" He said smiling at me. While I faced him, I put my hands into the jacket and he immediately zipped up the jacket. "Thanks Jeremy!" I appreciated smiling. He laughed briefly and responded, "We're friends after all!" "You've got a bag pack, looks like someone is going for a break." He added. "I'm going to spend the weekend at home and come back right before you know it." I said sliding my hair behind my ear. "Do you know who owns that car?" I asked pointing briefly at the car that had just splashed water on me. "The red car? It belongs to Bryan." He answered. "Harry?" I asked looking at him. Jeremy nodded his head twice and responded, "Yes, Harry." Harry? Isn't that the name of that guy I saw with Nicky the other day? Well, it could be a coincidence. I and Jeremy began walking side by side towards the exit gate, he is walking me to the park where I'd get a taxi to take me home. "Looks like there are more than one Harry in the school." I said as we walked out of the school exit gate. He shook his head and answered, "Nah, you're wrong. There's only one Harry in the whole of Texas University and that's Harry Walter." "He's quite an asshole though! Don't get involved with him." He added playfully. Oh! I think Jeremy is right! If Harry is not truly an asshole, he wouldn't have splashed water on me without trying to apologise or say a word. Why did Nicky choose to hang out with such mean guy? He drinks, smokes and he's very rude. "I have no reason to get involved with such an asshole." I said smiling at Jeremy. We walked a few meters and arrived at the park, I got into a taxi and Jeremy waited till the taxi ignited before he made a move to go back to the school. "Thanks for the jacket, I will have it washed and ironed then return it back to you in one piece." I said waving at him as the driver zoomed off. This is the first male friend I have, the first person I willingly be friends with. It's a new feeling entirely but I felt like I found myself a true friend; I guess I didn't make a mistake in offering to be friends with him.
