The following morning, they make it into the harbor and Bernard comes and wakes Gavin up. They wrap a still sleeping Kaya in a blanket and Gavin carries her to the small boat that will take them to the dock. They get to the dock and then get in a car and go straight to the hospital. She has a private suite that has its own large shower and soaking tub and a very comfortable queen size bed for her to rest on. Gavin gets on the bed with her still in his arms bridal style and then lays her down next to him never really letting her go. Kaya has finally woken up and is still a bit groggy when the doctor comes in and checks her.
