Chapter 31 Sarah woke up and found the spot next to her empty. As she looks at the time, it was fifteen minutes past seven. Amir must have gotten up early, she thought. Doing her morning routine, she dressed herself up in a pair of blue jeans with a red shirt and a matching red headscarf given to her by Ruth. Going into the city met covering her hair.
