Elaris's POV Monday mornings had started feeling different. Not easy. Just... familiar. The soft chirping of birds drifted through the open window before my alarm had the chance to ring. For a moment, I stayed where I was, staring at the ceiling while sunlight spilled across the bedroom floor.
