A Chance

I woke up alone, I groaned and slipped out of bed. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I slipped on some leggings and a tank top and headed downstairs. It was mid-May and warm outside, I walked into the kitchen and Lila was stood outside by the back garden. I walked out grabbing a drink and stood next to her. Her eyes were fixed on Harinder.

I looked at Rishi and my eyeballs nearly popped out. He was wearing shorts, but no shirt, sweat dripped down his back as he did pull ups on the bar in the garden that Kesh installed a few years ago.

Kesh and Harinder were boxing and I laughed, I looked back at Rishi and he was looking at me. I bit my lip and he winked at me. He let go of the bar and walked over to Kesh, he handed Rishi the gloves and he started boxing whilst Harinder held the targets. His muscles rippled and my throat went dry.

Lila laughed at me and I rolled my eyes, “Your staring at your man too” I stuck my tongue out at her.

“I know I blame the hormones” I shook my head laughing. The boys carried on for another 20 minutes and me and Lila sat on the swing talking. Rishi walked over to me and picked me up hugging me.

“Ewwww you’re all sweaty” I pushed him he held onto me tighter. He let me go and laughed.

“Sorry I couldn’t help it you look to beautiful this morning” he pecked me and we walked inside. “Go shower, I’ll get you some of Harinder’s clothes he has some he keeps here” I walked upstairs and got some clothes and set them down on my bed.

I walked back downstairs and started making breakfast, it was around 11am. Aloo paraunte sounded good and they were Harinder’s favorite.

Rishi came down and started talking to dad and Harinder, I was making the food and the boys sat at the table eating together. Once I finished I sat down with mom and Lila to eat.

We finished and cleaned up, I checked my phone and it was just after 12pm.

“I have to head home now I have some work to complete, thank you for inviting me” Rishi spoke to mom and dad. “It was lovely meeting you” Rishi hugged Lila and shook Kesh and Harinder’s hands. He walked upstairs to grab his stuff and I followed him up. He grabbed his keys and wallet and his clothes.

I stood next to my door and he smiled, “I had fun” he pecked my lips.

“I’m heading into work too got some orders to prep for tomorrow” he pressed his lips against mine softly and I tiptoed holding onto his top.

“Come over tomorrow?” I nodded and he smiled “I want to spend as much time as I can with you before the wedding” he brushed my hair out my face and we walked downstairs, we walked outside and he pecked me once more before he got in his car, I watched him retreat and a voice behind me made me jump.

“Sick car” Harinder and Kesh spoke.

“I like him he’s nice” Kesh spoke.

“I know” I smiled and walked inside.
