A Chance

The next couple of weeks went by quite fast, before I know it my birthday rolled around, tonight Rishi asked me to come to his house. He had given me a key to his place. I spent the day with my parents and my brother and sister. We had planned a little party on the weekend at Rishi’s place.

I went over to, Rishi’s house and let myself in. His car wasn’t in the drive. I sent him a quick text and sat down on the sofa.

Rosie – Hey I am at yours. Where are you?

I sat down scrolling through my phone, I pulled out my laptop and did some paper work. I wondered around the house and poured myself a drink.  Two hours passed and I text him again.

Rosie – where are you?

I sat back on the sofa and sipped my drink. I glanced at the clock it was nearly 12am. I walked upstairs slipping my pjs on
