22 Vesper Clutching at her head scarf, trying to keep her steps at a normal pace, Vesper walked around the back of the blood brothel. Now that she was here, on the verge of finding Mercy, she began to tremble. Without Kirael at her back, anxiety truly set in. The building itself was a neat three-story stone affair, something that wouldn’t have been out of place, perhaps, in the oldest parts of London.
