CHAPTER TWELVE I felt it, the pain, but I didn't say a word. I just continued to let them abuse me. I knew I had to wake up so we could move on with our journey, but the blanket was too damn comfortable and warm that I didn't want anything nor anyone disrupting my sleep. So I forced myself to endure it; the itching pain of tiny needle-like pinches that stung all over my body. I wanted more time to sleep. My eyes nor any other part of my body had had enough rest. The weather was very cosy so it did a good job in keeping half of my mind asleep, but failed to keep the other side awake, due to the stinging.
