CHAPTER 1

Luciano's POV

After a successful business transfer, I went to the bar for some celebration and to let some steam off.

I'm Luciano and I don't need to put effort into getting a lady to the job, they all come to me begging for it. What can I say, I'm really good with what I do.

I'm here with my best friend Mateo, he's like my shadow following me everywhere I go. It can be quite annoying but he's a relentless blockhead so I don't bother chasing him away. We've known each other since after the death of my parents, the only event that still haunts my dreams. Mateo saved me and we joined his father's mafia. He's been there for me after I lost everything and he still is.The old man, Mateo's father made me the leader after he resigned and Mateo my right hand man. He said I had the balls to take over the family business. At first I denied not wanting our friendship to go up in flames over some position, but he told me to take it. According to him, his father was right about him not having what it takes to be the head and he only has computer skills. I accepted the position and ever since then, I've been running the family with Mateo always by my side. He's the only person I trust in this world full of evil and chaos. He's the only lucky bastard to do whatever the f**k he wants and get away with it but he still knows better than to piss me off. I might not kill him if he does but I'll surely teach him a lesson or two.
