Jhene

Today, we have to go back to school. Winter break was over and I'm still nervous like it's the first day or something.

It's been 1 week since that dinner and everybody is still ignoring each other. My aunt would try to visit. But only to start some trouble.

"You ready to go back to school ?" Raniah as she drove me to school. I was nervous.

"No. Brandon threathened me. I think he is bi-polar, man. But then when he is rough, it's a turn-on for me. It's like I hate him and like him." I sighed looking out the window.

"It's alright. You will be fine." she reassured me and it felt like a ton was lifted off my back.

"But what about August ? He haven't spoken to me for weeks now. And I thought I seen him with Nicki."

"Can you shut up ? You keep complaining about nothing and it's annoying." I sucked my teeth and enjoyed the silence until we got to school.

I walked in and seen Mike, Kyle, and Brandon at the front talking. I ignored them and walked past.

"So you can't say hi no more ?" August said. I stomped my feet and turned around.

"I know you not talking. You ain't say nothing to me all winter break so f**k you." and the boys oohed.

"You a b***h for that." Brandon mumbled.

"And so is your mother." I yelled. I continued to walk and somebody grabbed my hair and dragged me in the janitor's closet. I kept struggling to get off them but it wasn't working.

I turned around and seen Brandon with a flaring nostril and jaws clenched. I chuckled and tried to leave to be pulled back.

"What you said about my mama ?" he said in a deep husky voice.

"I said your mother is a b***h, now what ?" he slapped me and I whimpered falling down.

"That's what you get." I grabbed his leg and dropped him and hopped on top of him and started throwing blows.

He grabbed my arms and pinned them over my head. I breathed heavily and struggled to get out his grip.

He pressed his lips to mine and I didn't kiss him back. What is wrong with him ?

"Kiss me." he roughly said. I nodded. "If you kiss me, you can leave." I sucked my teeth and kissed him. His lips were soft but I pretended to enjoy it so I lowly moaned. He pulled away and kissed my neck.

"Stop and let me go, Brandon." he chuckled darkly. "I know you like me, Jhene." I gave him a annoyed look.

"Your so-called friend, Nicki told me. Oh and I seen her f*****g around with August." I started crying and he released me. I just ran out there.

The bell ranged and I grabbed my books and made it to first class. I sat in the back with Raniah.

"You good ?" I sniffled and told her I'll tell her lunch time. Then Nicki just happened to come in the same time as August.

"Hey, Jhene." Nicki said trying to talk to me. I chuckled and looked at her funny.

"I know you f*****g around with August. b***h, you ain't slick." then everybody in the back oohed.

"Jhene, quiet now." I laughed and stood up on the table. "EVERY GIRL IN THIS CLASS, IF YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND, DON'T LET NICKI PETERS GO TO HIM. SHE ISN'T A GOOD FRIEND. MAD SHE WILL f**k HIM." everybody laughed.

"Jhene, out now." I grabbed my bag and left the classroom. Instead of going to the office, I just wandered around the school.

Brandon

I was getting a head from a random hoe in this school in the staircase. I seen Jhene pass by and I pushed her off me and fixed myself.

"You okay ?" she seen me and looked away. "So you can't speak english now ?"

"You're not even my friend so I don't think we should be speaking." I laughed at her smark remark and picked her up.

"Put me down." she struggled but I locked the both of us in the janitor's room.

"Brandon, you heard me the first time. Just let me out and it won't be a problem." I grabbed her and held her close.

"Jhene, you may not know this but I have a crush on you." she laughed and struggled still.

Jhene

"You trippin' boy." I tilted my head upwards and our noses grazed. I could feel his warm breath on my cheeks.

I closed my eyes, and simutaneously, our lips touched. Softly at first, only for a second, but it felt like someone had lit fireworks in my stomach.

Slowly, I became more brave and opened my mouth before finishing the moment with series of small kisses.

"Damn." he mumbled and I chuckled.

"I'm just tired of everything you know. August cheated on me and you became nice all of a sudden. I just don't wanna be in school no more." he turned me around and stared me in the eyes.

"Wanna cut school ?" and I started smiling like a cheshire cat. I nodded and he grabbed my hand and we checked the halls before running out.
