Chapter 9
The past few weeks with Sasha had been incredible. I’d spent the time wining and dining her to the point of sheer exhaustion. I was practically addicted to the girl, and I had never had so much fun— and I have had a lot of girls. There was nothing I didn't like about her.
We were trying to keep things very low-key to avoid drawing attention to ourselves. We had talked a long time about how we were going to go public, but so far neither of us could figure out a good way to do it. I didn't want her to lose her job because of our little fling. I still found it difficult to believe that my father would fire one of his children, but he sometimes surprised me. He seemed quite adamant about the whole thing, and it made me wonder what he had thought he’d seen that day at her desk that made him believe there was more going on between us. I myself had no idea where we were going with this, but for now I didn't want to negatively ruffle Sasha’s life for no good reason. I wanted to see where we were heading before I forced my father's fangs to come out. And I planned on fighting for her if it came to her losing her job.
There was a time when I wouldn't have fought for any woman, but Sasha was different, she was unique. I would do just about anything for her. She had opened me up to so many different things. She was kind and generous and cared more about books and foreign films rather than glamourous parties. It was refreshing.
I was clearing things up in the office when she walked in with some articles to proof. “Hi there. Can you look these over before I send them out?” she asked me. She was wearing a cashmere dress that she had purchased in France and looked downright fetching.
“Sure, sweetheart, I can do that.”
“I still haven't gotten used to hearing you call me that.”
“Well, I hope you do get used to it. I like using it.”
A frown crossed her face. “What are we going to do, Sol? I’m really starting to enjoy myself with you, and that means complications. Big ones.”
“I really don't know. It’s a lame response, I know, especially coming from someone with so many connections¸ but it's true. Let me think about it for a bit.”
“How about we have lunch and think about it together. I don't like being left out of things and to be honest, I think you could use the help.”
He laughed. “Maybe you're right. By the way, have I told you how incredible you look in that dress? I think I need to take you shopping in Paris more often.”
“I like the sound of that.” Her cheeks glowed red, and I loved the fact that almost everything made her blush.
I pulled her in close and kissed her softly on the lips. She tasted so sweet, and that distinct taste always gave me an erection. It was like I could already anticipate our chemistry working its magic through a simple kiss,
While I kissed her, my hands roamed from her face down to her shoulders and then down her arms. Our tongues tangled together while my hands found her ass. She had such a great ass, and I loved squeezing it beneath my hands.
“I want you, Sol.”
“You can have me.”
