Even in my dazed state of mind, I could sense the concern in his voice. I blinked my eyes open a few more times, trying to calm my breathing down as I forced myself upright. The sheet fell away from my naked torso, and as my vision adjusted, I realized I was still in Fenris’ master suite. Still in Fenris’ bed. No traces were left of the mist or the earthy jungle smell.
