What???"Clara screamed in awe,shocked by the sudden revelation.

"Mum you're kidding...."She chuckled in disbelief.

"You think I'll lie about this too??"Clara asked,her face showing seriousness and sincerity.

"Mum what are you saying? You're my mum!you gave birth to me!"Angel voice cracked a bit seeing how serious her mum was.

"I am mum sweetie,let me explain first!"Clara held her palm with both hands this time.

"Mum!!!!"Angel voice cracked even harder,tears threatening to pour down her cheeks.

"Actually it all started when I was in Senior secondary School,you know I was so naive...innocent and was too curious to know things especially the negative ones....on the outside I was a good kid but deep down I was worst than that,only my few friends knew about that"

"Clara!,Clara!Clara!!!"She could feel a tap on her back as she opened her eyes raising her head from the desk.

"What??!"She moaned stretching herself as she saw her friend Melissa standing in front of her.

"Aren't you gonna dance ballet today?"Melissa asked,her both hands firmly on her waist. "f**k!,yeah I would"Clara hummed.

"What's up with you??,why are you sleeping today??,didn't get enough sleep huh?"Melissa asked.

"Nah, I'm just a little weak, couldn't sleep all night"Clara responded.

"For real??,what happened tho?"She questioned again .

"Ugh Melissa, just leave me alone,have you guys started the dance?"Clara asked in-between yawn.

"Not really,we were waiting for you at our usual spot but not seeing you was a big disaster!,hope you're strong enough to dance today??"Melissa asked watching her friend closely..

"Yeah, just a bit tired,come on let's go!!"Clara gingered up, stretching.

"Uh huh!See who's strong..."Melissa mocked seeing how sleepy she looked.

"Ugh!"Clara collapsed back to the chair,"don't think I would be able to join today,I'm really tired"She muttered.

"I see...,hope you've eaten??,it's break time already,I could get something for you,you know"Melissa suggested.

"Nah,you can have your fun"Clara waved her off,resting her head back to the desk as she drifted to sleep.

"Such a wasted soul!"Melissa mouthed shrugging...."fine!!I'll leave you to sleep then"She walked out of the half emptied class to practice.

Clara opened her eyes immediately,"damn!why can't I sleep again??!...this b***h just came to distract me from my slumber ugh"She whined angrily pulling her self up.

She opened her drawer bringing out a s**t of paper,pencil and eraser as she set to draw.

What to draw??what to draw?-Her eyes lingered around spotting a car as a smile creeped into her lips.

"Would draw this then"She muttered setting herself to draw.

School went smoothly without much stress and soon it was school over.

"Hey sis,you're going home now??"Her junior sister Helene rushed into her class immediately with a grin.

"Yes why??"

"Well not going home yet,wanna hang out with my friends"Helene explained.

"Hmm,your choice tho,ain't my business"Clara replied zipping up her bag as she stood to leave.

"So sis,please cover me up please please please"Helene begged making a poppy face as she held her hand

"Fine whatever!,I'm tired already I need to go home"Clara replied disengaging from her grip.

"I've heard you,I need to sleep now"Clara added walking out of the classroom.

"Thank you sweet sis!!!"helene exclaimed throwing a kiss to her which Clara knew about even if she didn't turn back.

"Silly girl!"she muttered increasing her pace.

"Claire??????!!!"she could hear an annoying familiar voice.

She turned to his direction, "it's Clara dude?"She huffed.

"Ugh whatever"he eyerolled with a scoff.

"You're going home now cla??"He asked.

"Got a problem with that??"Clara asked in annoyance.

"Come on cla,you don't need to be angry on this..."He smiled placing his arms around her shoulders.

"SAMUEL!!"She yelled inhaling his sweaty scent as she pushed him off.

He chuckled, "where the f**k are you coming from??you wreck of sweat!"She exclaimed.

"Oh sorry miss Claire!!"he apologized mockingly.

"Ugh so disgusting!"She murmured disgusted.

"I was playing football"he explained "so still wanna judge me why I'm sweaty??"He questioned still in a mocking tone.

"Of course I need to judge you,damn!you stink!!!,why didn't you get an extra shirt or probably wipes??"She questioned disgusted adjusting herself from him which wasn't working at all as he kept coming closer.

"Arrrgh Samuel!!!!!!"She half yelled pushing him away as she kicked him.

"Dirty pig!"she cussed getting a mocking laughter from him.

"Ah ha! That reminds me girl ..would you excort me??"Samuel asked.

"Maybe,what happened??"She questioned ,this time staring at him as they passed the school gate.

"Please excort me dear bestie....you know I'm always bored without you"He pouted in a funny way.

A tiny smirk creeped her lips, "just lucky I ain't with my phone"She stated.

"Good thing you aren't"He chuckled knowing fully well what she wanted to do.

"What about your girlfriend??"Clara asked.."probably with her so called male bestie"he replied.

Clara escorted him back home while she trekked home alone,stressed and weak.

Sj collapse on the bed,every inch of her body feeling sore.

"Hey why haven't you pulled of your uniform"Annabella scolded walking into the room.

"Ugh Anna just let me be,I'm freaky tired here"she mumbled.

"And where's Helene??", "probably in one of the school club"She yawned closing her eyes.

Clara sighed hearing different noises around as she yelled angrily,"can you all stop the noise??!!!!"She thundered rising from the bed as she walked outside angrily.

"This children would keep making noise like animals!"She half yelled,her eyes reddened.

"Oh f**k!"She exclaimed covering her mouth with her palms immediately.

"I'm sorry"she mouthed running back to the room.

It was a new neighbor!!!.

They all watched her like they were expecting someone to come of the house after hearing her scream.

"Is she okay at all??"She could here a masculine voice asking.

"None of my business!,guess she needs to visit the hospital!"a feminine voice responded.

Ugh!!!what nonsense!!!-She groaned in annoyance covering her ears with the pillow beside her.

Probably seeing a therapist with be much better!- she murmured to herself.

"Get your ass up Clara!,it's time for church!"her elder sister voice echoed.

She huffed,dancing angrily on the bed,"I didn't even enjoy my sleep!,now I have to go to church!,I hate this compound!"She cried aloud.

"Ain't my business,I don't wanna find you in church for it!"Annabella warned as the other kids followed her.

"Get up!, don't be a lazy ass!"Helene mocked from behind.

"Shut the f**k up!!,you aren't even dressed for church either!"Clara attacked.

"Not like I'm going,that church is soooo boooring!!!"She exaggerated.

"Whatever"Clara murmured to herself.

She flung herself up, fighting her way to the parlor, "my head still hurts a lot"She winced in pain staggering to the door.

"Why not take some paracetamol or maybe boska??"Helene suggested.

"I don't need that!"Clara stated firmly.

"Your choice,so stop complaining!"Helene blurted out.

"Tsk! annoying!"she hissed walking outside.

She turned to see the new tenants who were making noise earlier, "Good evening ma'am"She greeted with a little bit of eye roll due to her headache.

"Eish!!!I don't wanna fall sick!"She muttered.

"Are you okay??"The fat lady questioned.

She turned to her, "yup I'm good"She replied,her eyes diverting to her son's peering eyes.

He just shook his head and withdrew his eyes back to his phone.

She staggered to the backyard as she found a spot to ease herself.

"Aren't you going to church??"Helene asked as soon as she got in.

"Probably wouldn't!, this headache is way out of league"She winced collapsing on the bed.

"Yeah,I think I didn't get enough sleep last night that's why"She explained wrapping herself with the duvet.

Few weeks later....

"Yo! Clara I've got gist for you!!"Helene smirked sheepishly hugging her from behind.

"Ugh!if it's not about boys,what other gist do you have to tell me tsk!"Clara hissed as she kept on peeling the yam she was about to cook.

"Actually is a quite interesting and weird one too"Helene explained.

"Hahah yeah!,always sagging, behaves like a big boy,on his phone too and his so nonchalant!"Clara stated.

"Big boy fire!,He's just doing that to show off outside or maybe when their father comes we'll know their exact state of being"Helene chuckled.

"Whatever!none of my business either,I'm pretty busy to start thinking about a guy now"Clara explained,this time slicing the yam into equal halves.

"I'll be back sis,let me check on something inside"Helene dismissed dashing out.

"Such audacity!,you didn't win my sister instead of you to look else where,you asked for me??!!"Clara scoffed in disbelief trying to digest all she's heard.

Her phone beeped,she stretched her next to see it.

When she was done,she picked up her phone sliding it open.

She scrolled into her f*******: to confirm the person, "Silas Ezra??..."She hummed going through the profile.

"Not so bad"She muttered reading some quotes from his news feed.

She accepted him as she slides into in group chat.

"Hi.."The messages immediately.

"Wow so quick!"She stated opening his message.

"Hey what's up??"She replied back.

And soon they started chatting.

She laughed so hard when he cracked a joke,she could stay all night just chatting this mysterious stranger without minding her school activities.

"Wanna explain why you're smiling??"Helene hugged her from behind as she laid on the bed.

"Okay so there's this guy I've been chatting online.."she began.

"Uh huh??...How about him", "actually I can't even explain myself, he's so jovial and no matter how hard it is for me to start a conversation,I can't simply get bored when he's online cos he brings loads of topic"Clara explained burying her face to bed,"ugh!!!I wish i could meet him,just once"She murmured.

"Let me see the profile of the person"Helene suggested taking her phone.

"Hehe"Helene chuckled,an evil smiles creeped across her lips.

"Alright chat you later,and make sure Mr stranger flutter her heart beautifully okay??"Helene chuckled,waving her hand dramatically as she left the room.

She sighed,"I'll just let it slide"she murmured but her hands were doing something else.

She fumed,her breathing unsteady,"What don't you get?!"she asked.

And soon they blended perfectly again as she began smiling regardless knowing his identity.

"Miss indoors!" he smirked staring at her one early morning as she came out dressed for school.

She stared at him intently,a little bit of frown clustered around her face,"shut up!"she hissed angrily getting a laughter from him which she totally ignored eye-rolling.

His mother and other neighbors gasped hearing her shun him but couldn't say anything after hearing him laugh,he was quite older than her.

"Miss indoors,should I excort you?"He asked again,this time she was about to leave after dressing her skirt properly.

"Never asked for that!"She huffed walking out immediately. She could a smirk was plastered on his face which got her even more pissed off as she scoffed,"does he even realize people were watching??!"She hissed loudly angry at the thought of that alone..

"Ah Silas!!!"his mum called out as soon as the ' weird' girl left,so they described her.

"Mummy just leave me oh,I didn't offend anyone did I??"he questioned dropping his face down to his phone.

"Yo! Girl!!!!!"Samuel rushed from behind placing his arm on her shoulders.

He chuckled,"alright feisty friend,aren't you excorting me today?"he asked.

"Hope you're seeing who's at my front?",she questioned with a nod as he looked up

Silas stared at Clara,"his my best friend"She stated knowing full well he was a bit confused.

Samuel disappointed face was visibly seen as he fumed,"I could get you you favourite Ice cream"he yelled out as soon as they started moving.

"Sorry baby,not working today,I've gotta go"She turned to him with a smirk as she walked away with Silas.

She chuckled,"he's my classmate,we got so many things in common just that he's way to extroverted than I am"she replied.
