The five-day leisure time given by the committee made the participants get enthusiast and give them enough time to get used to the environment, relive the anxiety and tension about the competition. They felt like this will be an easy piece that can be done easily.
No one, in these five days never wondered what will be the task. All the thing they mind where going out, take enough time to see the places that are supposed to be seen.
Some remained in their rooms as the need a recuperation. Some just focused on their daily activity.
Kate and Simon who were allocated the same house with up and down portion, decided that they will rest for a day, go out to the city for two days, visit the entire region of the competition venue for the rest of the days.
As planned, Day 1 They arranged their rooms, took rest and gone through the necessary details instructed by the committee.
Day 2, both prepared themselves well and go to the main city. They enjoyed quite a lot and did a few shopping. But unfortunately, as their concert in Paris was a success a lot of people begin to recognise them. They tried to mostly have a good interaction but when crowd begin to expand and the situation turns out of control, the tried to explain then and in some cases they fled from there with the help of the committee member who accompany them.
After returning to room…
“Offf, a long busy day.”, Kate exclaimed in tiredness, keeping the bags in the sofas.
“Yeah, Kind of…
Maybe we felt this because this is our first time to be in public after going public.” He reached for the fridge and took two bottles of juices.
“Maybe you are right but This is kinda feel good, right….
Receiving a lots of love and that to from the people who are unknown to us. I am thinking why don’t we officially make a public appearance in our country. What are you saying?”
“Are you sure? Don’t you think that going public means giving upon our normal life.”, Simon gave her a bottle and sat on the arms of the sofa beside her.
“Yeah, but this one is also nice to know that a lot of people are showing their love. The one thing I can’t understand is how weird they behave after seeing us? It felt that someone asked them to do so.” She turned towards him.
“I too noticed that only a certain group of people approached us while others were like ‘why so buzzing’”
“Anyhow going out seems like impossible to us in future and more over we get all that we might need for the rest of the days. Why not we spend some time together tomorrow.”
“Not a bad Idea but what will we do?”
“Tomorrow’s schedule is tomorrow’s; And Today’s is Today’s. So we think of what to do tomorrow by tomorrow. Now I need to go sleep but before that I need something to calm my stomach.” Kate said as she stretches her arms.
“then only way is to cook. Come...” They gone to the kitchen. Cooking was like a fun play for both. They didn’t enjoy in outside world as they enjoy being in one others side.
Sometimes, Simon lost his senses on seeing Kate behaving like a child in kitchen- playing, singing and cooking.
Kate only didn’t show her astonishment and how much Simon is mesmerizing her as he is so perfect in whatever work he do. She well hid her feelings that she goes through by behaving as she is excited.
In the Dining table, both decided to say what they feel for each other in end of this trip.
As the committee watch them secretly, the only thing left for them were wonders on how these kids who are only 13 years can be this matured.
