Chapter thirteen: an alpha mate

As soon as I finish reading the letter send by the Council, I go excited, Celest comes running to me “what's wrong?” “Wrong? Nothing honey nothing is wrong everything is great actually. The council has checked on our allegations, they have found proof of what you said about the pack, they are assigning a new alpha to the pack.” I explain as I pick her up by her waist, she laughs, that laugh that drives me crazy for her.
I put her down on her feet and kiss her, just a quick gentle kiss before we go to bed, this is good because it means we are in the clear and we can be happy. Without having to worry about anything other than our baby although we do still have to deal with Lauren.
