Chapter 12 My View

Jayce's POV

Our mate smells so amazing with her alluring aroma that just pulls me into her as she tries to sneak away because you can tell she is trying to resist, but I don't think she really wants to, just by the smell of her arousal getting stronger and stronger as I continue on.

I can't help but reach out pulling her back into me without hesitation, just wanting to be closer to her.. I look down at her, saying as seductively as possible into her ear, "You better stop thinking about me so I can concentrate on the task at hand, because the smell of your arousal is making that very hard.. Actually making everything VERY HARD my sexy little, amazing smelling mate."

"Yes... that was good I can tell she liked that comment, her scent is getting stronger.. yum." Milo states to me as I agree. I lean down and lightly kiss her earlobe sending shivers down her spine as I watch the goosebumps cover her exposed skin.. letting me know I'm doing something right.

I try to make this as casual as possible, just playing this fun game with her. "How do we know where these Gandharvas are?" She let's out a deep breath.. I think trying to calm her body as she nervously stutters out the most adorable response I could have never expected from her, "Well... um... uh.." this makes me smile to myself just loving how nervous we can make her.

"That WAS probably the cutest response ever." Milo states as I completely agree with him. I'm falling for her more and more by the second, with every moment and thought she exudes. We can hear lulling tones from behind her then to our sides then behind me.

"There's someone out there, We need to protect our mate." Milo states as we start to send out a warning growl, until I hear my mate say, "We found them." I keep looking around, with my eyes panning back and forth, just trying to see what she sees.. but I cannot see anything.. how does she know that these things are there?

She decides to calmly explain to me, "Shhh.. it's ok Jay.. this is how they introduce themselves and invite us in.. If we do not oblige with their invitation then we will be offending them and their customs."

I'm still confused about this because I still see no one around. So I guess I'm just going to have to take her word for that.

I'm brought out of my investigation as I watch my mate start to rotate her body, beginning with her hips. She sensually moves with such ease looking more graceful than ever before, enticing me completely.

I'm just frozen stiff in complete awe of her enthralling beauty as she sways her body back and forth like the most stunning sight I have ever seen, hence why I'm stunned into place.

She takes my hand but I have no idea what to do with it.. I have seen dancing for sure, but I have never once been apart of it that I can think of. I don't want to look like an i***t in front of her, especially when she looks so amazing.

She reaches out taking my one hand to put on her gyrating hip as she grips my other hand she has hold of tighter and moving it up to guide us I'm assuming.

I'm really studying her moves so hopefully I don't look too idiotic in front of her. She steps back and pulls me with her as I step forward without hesitation, but I start to really get nervous making me stumble forward.

She doesn't laugh at that reaction she doesn't even stifle a laugh suprisingly enough.. I thought she would be making fun of me instantly and yet here she is showing me that it's alright and no judgment from her.. not what I was expecting.

I can feel her hands steadying me as she keeps just guiding me around the small area given, as if my stumbling never even happened. We only step forwards then back, but I'm quickly picking up the steps as I gain a little bit of confidence in myself, stepping in unison with her.

"Good now you're not looking like such an i***t anymore.. You need to show her you can be graceful and manly at the same time!" Milo demands of me as I internally groan because that's exactly what I'm trying to do right now.. So I don't need him telling me that.

"Thanks for stating the obvious mutt." This makes him roll his eyes because we bicker like brothers, but he knows I love him and that he is my best friend.

She catches me offguard by letting go of my hand as I internally start to panic.. What am I suppose to do without her leading me? My panic is quickly cut off when I see she is moving her body with such grace as she comes back to me quickly.. Then making the same moves once again.

I can't help but stare at her just appreciating all this dancing that comes so naturally to her, as if it's just second nature to her or something. I mean fairies have been known to dance but this is not what I was expecting at all.. What a very pleasant surprise.

She throws me another curve ball like the exciting mate that she is by turning us around as I just continue to try to keep in step with her like the only thing I know how to do at this point. I know I should loosen up, but that's easier said than done for myself.

She instantly looks up getting locked into a breathtaking gaze with thise gorgeous eyes of hers.. In this time stopping moment, I can't help but think to myself.. that this is honestly what I want forever.. Not the dancing exactly, even though this is fun.. But doing anything and everything with her as long as she is by my side. She let's go of my hand again, shocking me as I expect she is going to throw out some of the same movements as before.. but no not at all.. She slides down my arm until it's stopped to where our hands are connected, as she lightly spins herself back towards me. She is spinning so fast, but gracefully that it doesn't even look like her feet are even touching the ground.. and being a fae, who's to say they are touching the ground.. But either way she is making this look way too easy. She just keeps spinning until she collides with her back to my chest. She keeps moving her body while pressing it to mine, now rubbing it across the front of me.

"She really looks and smells so good and who even knew she could move like that.. If this is any indication of what's to come in the bedroom.. Then to say I'm excited is a complete understatement." Milo declares to me as I internally smile knowing exactly how he feels as we both let out a soft purring as an automatic reaction, from loving this.

She gets back up to me swaying her body with mine, but I want to see that again, that was amazing.. So I take her hand and spinning her away from me just to pull her back, spinning her right into my frame. She looks caught offguard from that moment, which makes me happy because I might not be the best at this, but I am a fast learner and can dance with the best of them if given a chance apparently.

She ends up right back into my chest faced the other way like before as we both just naturally let our bodies move without initial direction letting them make their own moves.. We just gracefully move as one, completely pressed together, just enjoying this moment as much as we can. She so far has always somehow made me feel as if I'm the only person in the world and that thought alone makes me feel so special.

It's nice to know that we don't have to say one word to each other for us to know how to react in each other's embrace. My body is just drawn to her and everything she does, that I can't help but spin her around until we are facing each other as I press her small frame onto mine. She stares up at me making me feel more handsome than ever as she starts to almost grind on my body.

"Holy goddess! This is amazing. This needs to last forever or until I make her mine! Like Now! Perfect timing!" Milo declares as I spat back.. "No you silly love sick pup.. Just imagine, if she is like this here so willingly, then just imagine what she will be like in bed when she is willingly wanting to be with us.. But we have to wait until she is ready.. now calm yourself mutt... She has already said she would be with us, so don't rush things with her or she might back out before she is bound to us.. and I swear if you scare this amazing mate away I will never forgive you."

"Don't get your short cuts into a bunch.. calm down I just really like everything she is doing and couldn't be happier so don't ruin this for me!" He spats right back making me internally roll my eyes at that love sick puppy that I supposedly call my Alpha Wolf... Even though he doesn't know how to act like one.. at least right now.

We keep caressing our bodies on each others as I see what I'm assuming is the Gandharvas muscular bodies, come out of the shadows but not looking threatening at all.. they are dancing around us oddly enough, creating a big dance party of sorts.

With their wings and long hair they are looking bigger than I ever expected.. I think I was expecting a sprite size or something not a human size like they are.

Most of them are dancing as if we are not even here, as the others continue to play their instruments they have wrapped around their bodies. So I just pretend like they are not there as I pull my mate into my body dancing with her like there is no tomorrow.

Once I take her hand into mine, I spin her around. She looks absolutely perfect with how graceful she looks in this moment.. I can't help but smile as I stop her abruptly, just crashing my lips into hers just needing a taste of this delightful snack I call my mate. She gasps but continues to kiss me, letting me know I shocked her but she loves every second of it which I can't help but smile at that reaction. I break the electrifying kiss as I say to her, "That was exhilarating. Thank you for walking me through that.. Well worth the lesson."

She looks breathless, as she softly replies, "Anytime." This makes me smile as I see one of the men make their way over here, right besides us.. breaking us completely out of our amazing trance that I wish would go on forever..

He looks at me as if he is just sizing me up, before his eyes soften at the sight of my mate that's still in my arms.

He starts talking with her but I can't understand a word he is saying to her. Only deep grunts and sounds can be heard escaping his mouth just directed right at my mate. I watch as she shakes her head then replies, "He is my mate.. I couldn't be more safe than when I am in his arms."

This reply couldn't make me happier. They are talking about me obviously, but what makes me happy is her confidence in me.. she doesn't know what that means to not just me, but to Milo as well.

"I am a healer fae and we saw the whirlwind tunnel that destroyed and hurt many.. I was told that one of you might be hurt and need help.. So I'm here to extend my healing hand to anyone here who needs it." She quickly adds as the being bows to her and looks at the others. They nod in response as they turn around looking into the trees. I can see something moving from within but I cannot see what it is.. But I can smell him before I can even see him coming out into our line of vision.

He looks old and famished from whatever has happened to him.. He doesn't even make it two steps out from the trees, before he collapses to the ground, as my mate let's go of me to run to his side.. She moves so fast she might have flown there.

She is putting her hands on his body as he groans out more.. He must have some organs that internally ruptured if anything.. because there is no blood coming out at all that I can smell. The more she touches him the more he groans out, making the rest of the beings jump at that sound.

I think the injured must be their elder which shows why they would be so concerned for his safety everytime my mate touches him. We all instinctively inch closer to the two of them, not trying to bother, just wanting to know what's happening. We can see his whole upper body illuminating in the dark area as he continues to groan louder and louder in pain.

I see one of them stepping forward as the cries of pain get louder but I have to stop him.. We have to let her do what she needs to do to help. I put out my arm stopping him instantly as I quickly reply, "She is helping him don't stop it.. just be patient and I swear on my life he will be fine when she is done with him." He looks at me with so much worry apparent across his face but I think he understands what I'm trying to say to him even though I know there is a language barrier between us.

We watch my mate finish up her light healing as the elder looks up at her saying something softly to her.. she shakes her head as she starts to help him up but the others quickly jump to his aid, helping him stand as well. We can hear another one of them ask her something as she shakes her head more before glancing up at me. "We don't need anything as of right now.. but maybe our paths will cross again.. Thank you for the offer but we really do have to get going. Be safe out there." She declares as she then bows out of respect I'm assuming.. before she takes my hand into hers to lead us out of the wooded area.
