“Oh, I’m starting to think this is a bad idea,” Ravelina said in a low whisper. They were standing just outside the door to the basement laundry. It had taken a long time for the pair of girls to sneak into the basement, which it quickly became apparent was where some of the staff lived and worked.  They had snuck themselves out the hallway on the pretense of going for an after breakfast stroll. They’d warmly assured the Warriors that they’d be staying on the castle grounds, so there was no need for them to be accompanied by guards. Once out of sight, they’d found one of the servant’s staircases, which were the only ways to access the basement and were tucked into several corners of the castle.  Of course, they’d picked the nearest staircase, which had led them into a dungeon of sorts.
