AT MEHTA MANSION:

PALAK'S POV

IN PALAK’S ROOM

I came in my room and directly moved towards balcony and sitting in swing my thoughts went back to conversation which happened few minutes ago. Is mom and bhabhi right that I still have not moved from my past?

Why still it effects me? That was not my fault. I didn’t deserve all these.

Will I able to trust anyone for my whole life?

I hate this situation whenever I feel like hell. Why I have felt weird Ritwik touched me? Why he was behaving so protective towards me? I think he got more panic by seeing me in that condition. Because of touch and that feeling I didn’t realised that I was standing in lift. Why he effects me so much? I don’t have any answers to my weird questions. He said that he will see my all work by himself. Was he meant that actually? Should I call him? But wait a second I don’t have his cell number. But I can get it from Mohit, what if I call Ritwik and he will take in the wrong way. I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I didn’t notice when bhai enters in my room. He talked for some time and then I also shares with him about the incidence happened with me and Ritwik and he tried to understand me. He left after hugging me. I entered in my room and laid down on bed when a notification popped in phone.

I check the phone because it may be important. When I see, it is a notification of Ritwik’s direct message on i********:. The message is:

Hey Palak sorry to disturb you but I messaged you to inform that your all work is done and everyone is praising you about your work. So, you don’t stress, everything is taken care of. I hope you have taken your medicines and take care. See you soon.

A smile comes on my lips by reading his messages. It’s so sweet of him that he is personally informing me about my work which he have do. I think I should reply him:

Hello Ritwik

Thank you for working on my behalf, it means a lot. It’s so nice of you that you did all this for me. I’m not taking stress, thanks to you. See you soon.

After replying back I drifted to sleep.

THIRD PERSON POV

AT OBEROI’S

After Palak left with Shekhar. Ritwik calls his PA and asked him about the current situation at venue. His PA informed him that everything is going well, if you want I can check again. But Ritwik said that he will check by himself and his PA accompany him. Ritwik reached at venue with his PA and he himself checked everything. Then after sometime he thought to informed Palak so he messaged her on i********:. Later, he gets Palak’s reply, reading her message he is relieved that she is fine.

AT MEHTA MANSION:

It’s dinner time and everyone are gathered at dinning table except Palak. Veer is going to call her but Kavya stops him and tells him that she will bring her from room. She moves inside Palak’s room and sees only light lamp is on. Kavya sits besides her and starts stroking her hair.

“Piyu get up it’s diner time and if you will sleep right now then at night you will not get proper sleep.”

“Five minutes more bhabhi.”

“No more five minutes you get up right now because everyone is waiting for you at dining table and without you they’re not going eat anything.”

Listening this Palak gets up lazily and outs her head in Kavya’s shoulder.

“You go bhabhi, after freshening up I’ll be there.”

“You go and freshen up I’ll go together.” Listening this Palak nodded her head positively.

She goes to bathroom, gets freshen up and after changing in comfortable night dress she comes out. Palak and Kavya both comes out laughing and smiling to their fullest.

“How are you feeling now doll?” Veer asks on seeing Palak and Kavya laughing together.

“Don’t worry, I’m all good so just chill.” She said side hugging Veer.

They all gets seated and starts having their dinner with mild talks and teasing. After dinner Palak takes her medicine which Kavya gives her, they all spend some time in their lawn and after sometime they all left for their respective rooms to sleep.

AT OBEROI VILLA:

Ritwik enters inside and directly goes to his room because he is tired of today’s happening. Everyone sees him going upstairs without greeting anyone but they let him go.

“Jenny go and call Ritwik for dinner.” Asha said

“OK mom.” Jenny said

“He looks so tired today let him rest for sometime then I take diner in his room.” Roshni told Jenny.

“Come everyone here we will have dinner, Ritwik will have dinner in his room, let’s not wait for him.” Asha said.

“You guys carry on, me and Ruhani will join you in few minutes.”

Kushan said.

Listening him everyone left for dinner.

“Do you why he is behaving like this, dis anything happen in office?” Kushan asks Ruhani.

Listening him Ruhani explains everything that happen in office and how he took care of Palak. Hearing all these from Ruhani Kushan is confused about Ritwik feelings towards Palak. He thinking that if Ritwik cares for her so much then why can’t he confess in front of everyone.

“How’s she now?”

“She is fine dad, her dad came to took her up.”

“Okay let’s go and have dinner, we will later about this later.” Kushan said and they both head towards dinning table. Everyone is having dinner.

IN RITWIK’S ROOM:

He is laying in bed without changing his office clothes and he is just starring at ceiling. He gets up to freshen up and changed in his nightwear. He sits on bed putting his head on headboard.

After sometime Roshni enters with a plate of dinner and looking at her Ritwik gives her a smile. She puts the plate on side table and sits in front if Ritwik.

“What happened why are you looking dull?” She said caressing his hair.

“As usual mom work pressure.” Ritwik replies closing his eyes to feel his mother’s touch.

“First at some food then you rest.” Saying this she takes the plate from table and puts it in front of Ritwik.

“Mom, you feed me!” Saying this he gives plate to Roshni.

“Who can say that the CEO of Oberoi’s is still eating from his mother’s hand?” Roshni said taking a morsel for Ritwik.

“You know mom that I don’t care that what everyone thinks about me.” Ritwik said after taking a morsel from his mom.

Roshni feeds him while they both are talking and Roshni is giving him lecture about he became irresponsible in terms of food and taking rest. After spending some mother –son time. Roshni lefts his room.

THIRD PERSON POV

RITWIK’S POV:

Today when I came to office, I saw that all preparations for wedding has started but I was not able to see Palak might be she said busy with her work. I left for my cabin and started working in my new project. After an hour, I thought to visit venue so I had moved towards it. Their I saw Palak but I didn’t approach her and started checking everything. To my luck she saw me and she approached me, greets and ask me about preparation that I want to change anything or not. I tell her that every was prefect but I also wanted to add that she don’t have to worry because whatever she did was just perfect like her. But unfortunately I can’t that. The I offered her tea and age agreed instantly. We both moved sitting arrangement and having tea each other but after sometime their bride’s brother came and took Palak for some work.

In meantime I got an important call and I have to leave which I don’t want go from Palak but have to go. In evening, when I came out from my cabin for some work their insecurities Palak walking in very uncomfortable way taking wall support. I hurriedly went towards her and I asked that what happened to her then she said that she missed a step and listening this I questioned to myself that how clumsy this girl is?

Then I out her hand on my shoulder and I had her another hand when I hold her close to me I was feeling something good inside it. She wanted to see every arrangement from terrace so I decided to take her there. In the way everyone was giving us weird look and that was joking my anger so I take them to work. When we were about to enter in lift Ruhu stops me started asking me questions.

I said that I will explain it to her after sometime and told her to call doctor. We entered inside lift after one moment, she was breathing heavily and I asked her what happened but at the same time lift stopped with jerk because of sudden jerk my hold got lose on her and she sits down. Sweat buds started coming from her forehead, she was shivering and I was so scared by seeing her in this condition. Being a powerful CEO I failed to help. In asking her I got to know that she had claustrophobia. I called my PA to inform him about the situation and hanging up the call I helped Palak to relax saying soothing words to her I started running her hands but it want working so I hugged her to calm her down and started rubbing her back. After sometime I felt her normal breath and when I take a look at she was fainted . I was talking on her cheeks to wake her up but she was not even moving and in meantime lift opens and everyone entered in lift to help us.

Then I picked her up and directly went to my cabin and laying down her to my couch I told Ruhani to call doctor fast. Doctor came and starts examining her and I came outside the cabin. Few moments later, doctor came and tells us her condition and I also informed that she has claustrophobia and that is reason about her panic attack. After giving prescription and saying to take care if her he left. I entered inside and saw Palak is still unconscious so I sits besides on other couch. I thought to call Shekhar sir to inform him about Palak’s condition. Listening my words he said he was coming to take her then I hang up the call. I don’t know why seeing Palak in this condition something is breaking inside me I was not able to do anything when she was suffering. It was all my fault that I took her in lift without asking her. I was gazing at my thoughts when I saw Palak gaining her consciousness, she was trying to get I helped her to get up.

After sometime Shekhar’s sir came and take her with him after talking with me for sometime. After finishing all my work I left for home. Reaching home, I directly went into my room after sometime mom came and she feeds me and she lefts . I lay down on bed and starts thinking that how hectic the day was. Everything was going do good but because of my one mistake everything takes up wrong turn. Thinking all this I drifted into sleep.
