Mr. Stalker

THIRD PERSON POV:

Palak is supervising in the venue. She is roaming here and there looking after all the preps. It’s been three hours since they have started working and now she is hell irritated and tired because some of the workers are not doing the work properly.

Meanwhile Ritwik comes there finishing his back to back meetings and from far he sees Palak guiding a worker, anyone can say looking at her face that she is irritated and Ritwik also notices that and he chuckles looking to her face and decided to accompany her and move towards her.

When he is about to call her from behind there he hears, her saying “Ek number no gando che, Ek nanu kam nathi thatu aana thi! ” (You’re such an i***t, can’t he even do little work properly). Listening this he made a confused face and asks her from behind, “What does it mean?”

Hearing sudden voice from behind she gets startles and she jumped on her place and shouted “Aahhh!” she turns around and sees Ritwik. She is giving him a “Are you mad?” look.

“You scared me!”

“When did I scared you, I just asked about the meaning of that sentence?”

“If you ask like this, anyone will be scared.”

““OK, my apologies but what were you saying to that worker?”

“You are talking about that, I was just irritated!”

“OK, you know how to say Gujarati?”

“Obviously, I am Gujarati.”

“’Oh! ” He said with a amused face then he smiled widely and he asked with excitement,“I’m sure, you know how to make thepla (It is flat bread made of fenugreek leaves, wheat flour and other spices.”

“Yes, I know.” Palak said with a confused face.

“Once I went to one of my relatives place in Gujarat, there we have been served thepla as breakfast, everyone in my family loves them. After that, mom and Badi mom tried a lot but it doesn’t taste like that yummy one.”

“You are the owner of many hotels, you can order your chef to make for you.”

“I had tried that too, but I didn’t get that taste.”

“Will you mind if I bring it for you.”

“So, it means that you know the place where I can get it.”

“Yes, from my home!”

“Ooh, I thought you talking about any hotel or a place from where I can buy them. ”

Palak giggles and said, “Leave it, I’ll bring it for you tomorrow.”

Before Ritwik can say anything, Palak moves towards a worker who is not doing his work properly. She is guiding the worker when Ritwik comes there and tap on her shoulder she turns towards him and asks, “What happened?”

“I think you need rest.”

“No, I can’t rest right now because there are some new workers so they need my guidance.”

“It’s okay, you can ask someone else to supervise them for some while. Meanwhile you can rest a little bit.”

“Okay!! I’ll be back in few minutes.” Saying this she goes towards one of her experienced worker and asked him to supervise for sometime.

She moves towards Ritwik.

When she reached near Ritwik, before she can say anything he asks, “ Ms. Palak where do you want to rest, in garden, in my cabin or the conference room?”

“I think garden is fine.”

“Okay, let’s move.”

They are moving towards garden when suddenly Palak remembers about her keys, so she asks Ritwik, “Mr. Oberoi, I think I had forgotten my keys in your cabin, can we go first to the cabin.”

“Oh sure, first we’ll get the keys from my cabin. Come!”

They head towards Ritwik’s cabin and they are near his cabin but didn’t notice two people standing there. They both are talking, someone suddenly jumped on Ritwik, he is going to fall because of sudden jerk, but he balanced himself and Palak is shocked seeing this.

“Saale, kabse call kar rahe hai, Utha kyu nahi raha tha?” That guy said coming out the hug and hitting on Ritwik's head. ( i***t, we’re calling you from so long, why were you not answering?)

“Parth, tu kabse iss Rishabh ki tarah drama karne laga? I was in meeting and phone was on silent, even now my phone is silent!” Ritwik said to Parth rubbing his head where Parth hits him. ( Parth, from when did you started doing drama like Rishabh?)

“For your kind information , I don’t do drama. Atleast check your phone once after completing the meetings.” Rishabh said taking Ritwik in manly hug.

“Who is this pretty lady with YOU?” Parth said looking towards Palak and emphasizing the word “YOU“.

So, suddenly Ritwik remembers that he is not alone with his friends, so he cleared his throat and said, “She is Ms. Palak Mehta, she is supervisor of the new project.

Both Parth and Rishabh said in unison “Hello, Ms. Mehta."

She also replied with small smile.

“Mr. Oberoi I will take your leave now but before that can I take my keys from your cabin?" Palak said with hesitant because she does not want to invade in their privacy.

“Ok come" he said to Palak and turn towards his friends and said them that to wait for a while.

“No no you attend your friends I will take it from cabin." Palak said with a genuine smile.

“Actually you won't because cabin is locked and keys are with me." Saying this he move towards the cabin and unlocks it he gesture Palak to come in.

She takes her keys which were on desk and move out saying a quick thank you to Ritwik and head towards the venue for the final supervision.

Ritwik also moved out and gestures his friends to come inside the cabin.

“So why are you both here?" Ritwik asked them sitting on his chair and taking out his phone from pocket to check the missed calls and putting phone on ringing mode.

“We are here to take you out form club and you have to call Ishan as she never say no to you, we forget to call her before.” Rishabh said and sees changed expressions on Ritwik’s face by listening Ishani’s name and Parth also notices it.

“Bro! What happened?” Parth asked with concern.

“Actually I want to tell you both, but I forgot to tell you before.” Ritwik said in a low voice because it is the first time that he had not tell anything to his friends.

“Is it about Ishani?” Rishabh asked.

“Yes, actually this Sunday I with my whole family were invited by Grover’s and then tell them everything from proposal to the morning call between him and Ishani.” Saying this he became silent but when not getting response from them, he notices confusion and shock on their faces as Ishani can do this , no one expected.

“She didn’t tell us anything even she is not in contact from last few days.” Parth said with amusement.

“Oh bro cheer up, these things comes and goes, to uplift our mood let’s go to club tonight.” Rishabh asked.

“Not tonight, we’ll go this weekend as I have much pending works to complete till tomorrow.” Ritwik answered.

“OK, as you wish, we’ll go on saturday night and I don’t want to hear any excuses.” Parth said with end of the discussion tone.

“OK then, I’ll join you on Saturday night.” Ritwik said with confirmation.

“Fine, we’ll take your leave. I’ll message you place and the time.” Saying this they both left.

After finishing all the work, Palak and Ritwik left for their respective homes.

AT MEHTA MANSION:

Palak reaches home and sits on couch with a tired face. Everybody expect Dadi and Veer are out for their work. Dadi comes and sees Palak so she sits besides her and caressed her hairs. She asked Palak how was your day? To which Palak said yawning that it was hell tiring. To that Dadi replied I can understand baccha because you are working for a big function at high profile workplace. Not seeing anyone around, she asks dadi that where are everyone?

Dadi told her that Shekhar and Smita went to orphanage as there was some emergency, Kavya with viaan is out with her friends and Veer is doing his work in study. Palak just nodded and head towards her room.

After freshen up, she comes out of her room and head towards study to meet Veer. She slightly open the door and asks Veer that can she come in, to which Veer replied come in doll, you don’t have to ask my permission. She goes inside and sits on chair besides him.

They spent some bro-sis time and they asked each other about their day and work. Then they chit chat for sometime. After a while, they hear viaan’s voice and they goes towards the living room. Seeing Veer, Viaan shouted Pa-Pa.

Listening his shout he move towards viaan and take him in his arms and twirled him. Seeing a gift wrapped box in Kavya’s hand, Palak asks, Bhabhi did you bring this gift for bhai, not bad haa. Kavya said no and tell her that it’s her friend’s birthday return gift, so stop teasing me. She chuckles at the end. OK fine, I’m damn hungry can we have dinner please, Palak said rubbing her tummy. Everyone laughs on her antic and they move towards dinning room.

They are going to sit for dinner and at that time Smita and Shekhar comes. Everyone asks them to join them first but they tell them to continue with dinner, they’ll join them after being freshening up. After finishing their dinner everyone spends some time together and then departs for their respective rooms.

Palak sits on swing in balcony and gazing the stars for a little peace. After spending some me time, she remembers about Ritwik’s follow request on i********:. Today, after being spending sometime with Ritwik, she realizes that he is not that much arrogant. So, she accepts the request. She gets shocked by seeing Ritwik’s followers ie. 600k!! She thought that Tani was right, he’s really popular af. After sometime she comes back in her room and slept.

AT OBEROI’S VILLA:

Ritwik came back from the office and directly went to his room and laid on the bed without freshening up as he was tired by his back to back meetings and hectic schedule.

When ritwik was going towards his room, Roshini saw him and thought to check on him. So, she entered in his room , she saw him on bed laying lazily in his office clothes. Sitting beside him on bed she caressed his hairs and sensing his mother’s touch, he kept his head on her lap.

After sometime she told him to freshen up and have dinner as everyone is waiting for you at dining table.Ritwik said to start dinner, he’ll join them in few minutes. Roshini lefts his room and after some time of freshen up, he goes downstairs and joins everyone for dinner. They all had their dinner.

After that, they all moves towards garden to spend some time there. Dadu called one ice-cream wander and everyone tell their favorite flavor to the wander and they all have their ice-cream with fun.

After sometime they departs for their respective rooms by wishing good night to each other.

Ritwik comes back to his room and started checking his phone, weather he has some important mail or any message to be taken into consideration but what catches his attention is the notification from i********:. It is request accepting notification that was accepted by Palak. He checked her profile, bio, following, her 500 followers, her posts, highlights, stories and many more.

He is smiling like a mad person and his all tiredness flew away. After checking [ stalking ; -) ] her account he slept peacefully.
