Shattered Friendship

The much awaited day for jobbers, it’s Saturday, the half working day.

Palak is at venue and supervising everything and everyone. Ritwik is in his work. Because of half day Palak is having so much workload and on the other hand Ritwik is finishing his pending work before going out with his friends.

Here, Palak is busy in making report file when her phone rings, she picks the call without seeing name.

“Hello, Palak Mehta speaking.”

“Hello Ms. Palak, can I have a talk with my aloo.” Tani said from the other side.

“Oh Jeera, your aloo is busy.”

“Whenever I call you, you are always busy with your work! ”

“Because Ms.Rai I have work to do.”

“Oh, like I don’t do any work.”

“What work you do?”

“I have to do with protocols of the company, filing important catalogues, assisting and reporting my senior. I have this much work to do then also I am managing the time to have a talk with you.”

“Oh, Ms. Busy I’m not an assistant manager of head department like you.”

“Don’t go there, my dad was not ready for me to do internship like you. That’s why I have to say yes for this post.”

“OK leave it, I didn’t mean to say in that way.”

“I called you to let you know that you're coming to my place before going to club. We’ll get ready together.”

“No, you’ll have come at my place as there are less traffic signals from my place as compared to yours. So, we can reach there early.”

“OK, I’ll be there by seven.”

“OK done, anything else?”

“Nothing, you carry on your work.”

Saying bye to Tani, she hangs up the call and involves in her work.

Half day passed in jiffy. She submits report file and left for home.

In Ritwik’s cabin,

Usually, on saturday’s he works till two in afternoon but today he is working extra so that he can enjoy on sunday. Ritwik is so much busy in his work that he didn’t notice the time. He is busy in some file when he gets call from Roshini, he picks up immediately.

“Hello mom”

“Do you know what time it is, Mr. CEO?”

Listening this, he checks time in his wrist watch.

“It’s four pm mom, why are you asking me?”

“Usually, you are there in home by two, but you didn’t come so I thought to call you?”

“I wanted to come but I have so much work to complete by today so, I’ll be late and don’t make my dinner as I’m going out with Parth and Rishabh.”

“Okay but will you come home before going out?

“Yes, I’ll come to change my clothes.”

“OK then, come soon. Bye!” After completing the call, he resumes his work. Later, finishing his work in cabin, he lefts for a surprise visit in another branch of his hotel in that particular region.

There he is inspecting and supervising in every hall and checking around if there is need to fix or change or replace anything.

AT OBEROI VILLA:

Parth and Rishabh reach there and greets everyone and informs that they are going out tonight and they are here to take Ritwik with them. Listening this, Dadu said that how can you take him when he is not in the home.

But we had planned yesterday only, we’ll meet at this time, Rishabh said. Asha says that maybe he forgets about the plan and even he didn’t come to home till now. Listening this, Parth says that okay they will pick him up from his office.After spending some time with Ritwik’s family, they both left for Ritwik’s office.

Reaching there, they comes to know from receptionist that Ritwik is visiting another branch. Listening this, their mood spoils little bit and decides to annoy Ritwik. They are going towards the exit and sees Ritwik coming, they exists from the car and stops him there.

They both move towards Ritwik and starts beating him in a friendly way.

Ritwik is trying to defend but they are not giving him chance and says, “You i***t, dumb head, moron and careless person, we were waiting for you at your home and you haven’t informed about being late.”

“Sorry, I just forget because of work load.”

“Keep your sorry with yourself and come with us right now!”

“Okay, we’ll go but first let me change my formals.”

“Now, you don’t have time to change, you have to come in this only.” Saying this Parth gestures Rishabh to play along.

“This formals are not that bad, you can come in this.” Ritwik is wearing a custom tan sport coat with black shirt and black jeans paired with matching tan loafers.

“OK then, let’s go.”

They all moves towards Ritwik’s car and head towards Marine Drive to spend some best friends time. They are catching up on everything.

“Did you call Ishani for tonight?” Ritwik asks to both of them.

Parth and Rishabh looks at each other and gulped their saliva and said in unison “No”

“Then it’s ok, I don’t want those negativities back.”

“Do you mind if Ishani joins us?”

“I don’t have any problem with her it’s just that after all that drama I can’t face her.”

“I just ask like that, I’m not going to invite her.”

They three are sitting silently on Marine Drive and enjoying the cold breeze.

After an hour they left for club.

MEHTA MANSION:

Palak is back home after completing her half day at Oberoi's. It's mid afternoon so she didn't had lunch and eating some light snacks, she left for her and changed in comfy clothes to take nap.

It's 6 pm Tani reaches here early to surprise Palak with shiny charm bracelet because Palak likes this kind of things. But reaching there Tani gets surprise when Palak's mom tells her that Palak is sleeping and she checks on her, she is sleeping like a baby. Tani immediately clicks picture of her.

She shakes her vigorously and wakes her up . She gets up and starts shouting due to sudden jerk, so Tani calms her down saying, “It’s me.”

“Are you mad? You don’t even let me sleep peacefully.” She said again laying down on bed and hiding her face in comforter.

“My sleeping beauty see the time if you’ll not get up now, we’ll get late.” Saying this she pulls her comforter “Ok fine!! We will start getting ready or else you will irritate me more." Saying this she gets up from the bed with grumpy face.

“You go and get freshen up till then I will get you a coffee so that your drowsiness will flew away." Tani said leaving the room and Palak move towards washroom.

After some while Palak comes out from the washroom and starts adjusting the messy things on her bed. Few moments later Tani enters with two cups of coffee. They both sits on bean bags in the balcony while enjoying every sip of coffee with their spicy talks.

It's 6:45 pm and they are still sitting in balcony. Suddenly Palak stands up and pulls Tani from bean bag and starts dragging her inside the room.

“Now are we not getting late, huh?" Palak said in high tone.

“Ok fine!! Let's start getting ready." She said removing her things from the bag.

“First I want to see your dress, if I like it you can go with it otherwise I will select it from my wardrobe.” Palak said with mischievous smile.

“I'm sure you are going to love it." Saying this she removes the dress from the bag and shows it to Palak. It is red long sleeves with crew neckline, mid thigh bodycon dress.

Seeing dress Palak said with excitement, “OMG!! Boys are going to have hard time. You are going to look like badass chic."

“Thank you, thank you! After all it's my choice.” she said while lifting up her imaginary collar.

“Whatever, I think we should start getting ready." Saying this Palak takes out her dress from wardrobe.

They starts getting ready helping each other to look gorgeous. After being ready and clicking tons of pictures they left the room and are about to leave.

In living room everyone is present and notices Palak and Tani who are looking attractive tonight. Shekhar whistles looking at them and everyone giggles.

“Both besties are gonna kill it." Kavya compliments them.

“Atleast today this boring girl is wearing something pretty or else I thought that she will go wearing kurti in the club too." Dadi said sarcastically and everyone laughs on it except Palak.

“The combination of red and black is looking so good, it’s look like you both are completing each other.” Veer praises both of them.

“OK now, will you guys allow to them go or the whole night you are going to compliment them as they are looking so beautiful.” Smita praises them and clicks a photo of them.

Then they lefts in Tani’s car.

In XYZ Club:

Ritwik, Parth & Rishabh reaches there. They sits on the couch by the corner which they had already booked before. They order drinks. On having drinks, Parth and Rishabh are talking about their female followers on social media, but Ritwik is not interested in this stuff. Parth shows him a picture of a new model as he owns the advertising company and have many contacts with models. Ritwik is hard nut to c***k. Seeing Ritwik’s attitude Rishabh said, “What kind of girl you want?”

“A girl who can understand me, my family and my dedication towards the work, who can also maintain the balance between my social and business status.” Ritwik describes each and every side of his to be wife.

“Say it directly that you want full package in one girl.” Rishabh said with a naughty grin.

“Do you want your wife as a housewife who can handle you and your family or you want a working women?” Parth asks taking a sip from his drink.

“I want a girl who can handle both things. Right now only this much is in my priority list.” Ritwik said putting his glass on table.

“Do one thing, marry one of your staff member and do ask her that does she knows how to handle house. I made your work so easy.” Saying this Parth petted on his shoulder.

“Stupid people can gives only stupid advise.” Saying this Ritwik and Rishabh high-five and laughs.

They started bickering over stupid things and moves towards dance floor. Girls present in club notices Ritwik and they are giving him seducing smile. Seeing this, Rishabh and Parth said that they don’t have any value when Ritwik is around them. Ritwik laughs on this statement. Rishabh excuses himself from Ritwik and Parth, moves out of the club. Going out Rishabh gestures Parth that he is going to call Ishani. When he is out, he calls Ishani and she picks up in second ring

Ishani – Hey, Rishabh

Rishabh – Hello, where are you?

Ishani – At home or where can I go at his time?

Rishabh – You wanna join me and Parth at club.

Ishani – Are you both there or someone else?

Rishabh – Yes, we both are only.

Ishani – Did you call Ritwik?

Rishabh – Yes, we called him but he is busy in his work so he can’t join us.

Ishani – OK, I’ll seen you then, you message address.

Rishabh – Great, come soon bye!

He disconnects the call and joins Parth and Ritwik. Rishabh gestures Parth positively that Ishani is coming. After sometime Ishani arrives at club and starts searching for Rishabh and she finds them on couch, they are waving at her. She hugs them and sits there. Parth orders drink for her. All of three are having little chit chat when suddenly Ritwik comes there from Washroom hanging his coat on shoulder and phone in other hand.

“Sorry guys I got a call from a cli--" Ritwik stops in middle seeing there Ishani and he greets her,“ Hii Isha."

But Ishani stands up and scolds Parth and Rishabh,“Why you lied to me?"

Seeing her behavior both of them don't have any word to say. Ritwik interrupts and asked about the lie. To which Ishani answers in a high tone, “Rishabh told me that YOU are not coming that's why I came here."

Listening this Ritwik questions them that you have done same thing to me, yesterday you both said that only we three are going. So is there any motive behind this? To which Ishani bumped between them and said, “Don't scold them, I know it's all your plan to meet me."

Hearing this kind of words from Ishani, Ritwik lost trust for her as a friend too. And in anger he said, “If you don't want to see my face then you can leave I'm also not interested."

Between this heated arguments Parth interrupts and told them that it was their plan as they wants to resolve the problem raised before and negotiate to became friends as earlier.

Hearing this words of parth, Ishani takes her clutch from table and leaves saying that she don't want to see their face.

“Congratulations for spoiling our night" saying this he move towards bar counter. While having his third drink he is looking aimlessly, when something or someone catch his attention.
