THIRD PERSON POV

AT MEHTA’S Organization's:

Palak reaches Mehta’s from Oberoi’s and directly head towards her cabin and she is happy to resume her work after a short break and without seeing her surroundings she enters inside and close the door in hurry. Room is all dark, windows are closed too and there is no source of light or fresh air.

Looking at all dark a past memory hit her hard and she starts breathing heavily. Her body starts shivering, her legs turns into jelly and she collapsed on floor. She with so much difficulty removes her phone from the handbag and making herself a little stronger she dials Shekhar’s number. He receives in third ring and before he can say anything Palak said, “D-a-d”saying this she passes out.

Listening her uneven breathe and breaking voice, Shekhar immediately rush towards her cabin. On opening the door Shekhar finds Palak laying unconscious on the floor. Shouting his PA's name he picks her up in his arms. He takes her to medical room, putting her on sick bed and told the doctor to do her check up and then he instantly calls her psychiatrist and told her to reach at Mehta’s as soon as possible because she is unconscious as she got panic attack. Then he stands besides Palak and starts rubbing her hand as doctor is checking her and giving her an injection , he said don’t worry she will get consciousness in few minutes. Saying this doctor lefts the room giving them privacy. After sometime Palak gets her conscious back.

He caressed her hairs and said, “Are you fine princess and what happened that suddenly you fainted?”

She didn’t say anything and before Shekhar can ask further her psychiatrist arrives. She sits besides Palak and told Shekhar to wait outside. On holding her hand she asks Palak, “What happened suddenly, before few months you were all fine and how many times this happened?”

“It happened twice, yesterday in lift and today in my cabin.” Palak replies not making an eye contact with Dr. Shivani.

“Lift? Why were you in lift, when you know the consequences?” Dr. Shivani said with frown.

Palak narrates her whole situation and how she feels about Ritwik plus today morning’s conversation also and she is listening everything with concentration.

“That’s good that you invited him and do you have anything for him like feelings or soft corner for which you are sure?”

“I don’t know doctor, I’m feeling all these after so long and I don’t think that it’s a wrong thing.”

“No, it’s absolutely not. It’s normal and you can take time to figure it out without taking any stress.”

“But I’m tired of this attacks when will they stop permanently?”

“When you will completely forget your past and move on from it, they will automatically stops but till then avoid all this small enclose places.”

“I’m trying but whenever I stuck in close places I get that flashbacks.”

“First of all don’t talk about your past and you think you have moved on but you still not!” Listening to Dr. Shivani, Palak didn’t say anything.

Seeing this doctor again said,

“You need someone in your life and so that he can lead you to move on to live a happy life.”

“Right now I don’t need anyone because I won’t be able to tell him about my past and without it I can’t be able to start a relationship.”

“Every guy is not same atleast try to trust someone whom you think is good for you and he will understand you in every situation. I know it’s hard to find a perfect guy but try to find him in your surrounding people whom you know or whom you can trust.”

“Ok I will try my best doctor but right now I want to concentrate on my career.”

“Okay but think about what I said and whenever you need me just come to me.” Listening this Palak nodded and doctor lefts the room.

OUTSIDE THE SICK ROOM:

Shekhar is waiting for doctor to come out so he can know about Palak’s condition. Half an hour later doctor comes out and seeing her Shekhar immediately asks, “Doctor how’s Palak, is it happened because of that incident?”

“She is all fine but she needs more attention from her family and someone who can make her understand the concept of love.”

“I’ll take care of it, should we have to change her medicines?”

“No need to change it, medicines makes her calm for few minutes which is temporary. She needs someone rather than family or friends and not pills.”

“We are trying but she said she is not ready for it.”

“In that case I have to talk with her mother and now I’ll take your leave.” She lefts and after a while Palak comes out of the sick room.

“Dad! I don’t want to sit here all day, tell me what work is pending I’ll do it.”

“Shut your working mind you young lady, I’m giving you leave and you are going to home right now.”

“No dad I don’t want to go home and rest, I’m tired of it.”

“No arguments you are leaving for home and I’ll tell driver to drop you.”

“On one condition that whatever happen here you’ll not tell anyone at home. If you agree for this then only I’ll go home.” Listening this Shekhar is thinking that should he agree for this or not. Then he remembers that doctor will talk about her condition with Smita so eventually she’ll know about Palak. So here, I should agree for this promise.

He said, “Fine, I’ll not tell anyone but you have to come right now.” Listening this Palak lefts by side hugging her dad.

Palak lefts for home.

Dr. Shivani is one of Smita’s friends. So whenever something like this happens with Palak, she always share it with Smita and Savitri. She dials Smita’s number and after few rings Smita picks up the call and enters inside the Aashyein.

Dr. – Hello Smita, how are you?

Smita – I’m fine, what about you?

Dr. – I’m fine actually I called you to discuss about Palak’s case.

Smita – Why? What happened to her suddenly?

Dr. – Today Shekhar called me and inform me that Palak is fainted because of panic attack and reaching there I got to know that yesterday also she got panic attack.

Smita – What? Is she fainted today? I don’t know about today’s incidence. But you tell me what actually happened.

Doctor describes her whole incident to which listening this, Smita’s eyes filled with tears. Savitri is walking beside her and looking at Smita’s condition while listening Palak’s name so she understands the situation that something is happened. She takes Smita inside the cabin and made her sit, give her glass of water. While drinking water, Smita puts her phone on table and noticing the doctors name on phone, Savitri put it on speaker.

Savitri – Hello Shivani, Savitri here.

Dr. – Hello aunty actually I called to discuss about Palak and now you are here also so it will be good to discuss it with you both.

Smita – I’ll tell everything to mummy later, you continue what you want to discuss about Palak.

Dr. – I know what I want to discuss is little personal but seeing at Palak’s condition it’s important to discuss it.

Smita – It’s okay you can discuss don’t make it formal.

Dr. – Tell me one thing that have you started searching a suitable guy for her as I don’t think she is going to do that by herself.

Savitri – We were thinking about it but looking at her condition we dropped that idea.

Smita – And her dad is also on her side in this topic.

Dr. – Leave all that I’ll talk with Shekhar about this but tell me do you know about that guy who helped Palak in the lift yesterday?

Smita – Yes I know him, he is nice guy and because of him Palak was fine yesterday but why are you asking about him?

Dr. - Actually today Palak shared something about him.

Then Dr. narrates them about the whole thing, talking about him her face was calm and a small smile was lingering on her lips. She is not sure about her feeling and I would suggest you all should give her some time to explore her feelings.

Smita – Really I can’t believe this! But seeing her yesterday’s behavior I don’t think that she will give herself a chance.

Dr. – This time I think Palak has taken the initiative so I think that she’ll try to move on.

Savitri – If she is happy with someone then we don’t have any problem because I know my girl have faced so much and now she deserves happiness.

Dr. – Okay, if you have faith in herself let her do whatever she wants step by step and don’t force her for anything. Will talk later, bye.

Smita – Bye but do share Palak's case whenever it is needed.

They hangs up the call, Smita and Savitri are just sitting on their place because they don’t know how to handle their girl. Smita gets a call from Kavya and she said that Palak is home at this time, when she asked her that she is not feeling good. Smita said to take care of her and she’ll home completing her work as soon as possible and they hang up the call.

Smita and Savitri finished their work in office and instructed everyone about the event which will be held on coming sunday and when they are finished they left for home.

How was the chapter?

I know that whole chapter is on Palak but it is needed according to the plot. But in next chapter there will be cute scene between Palak and Ritwik. About the flashbacks which Palak gets will be revealed in coming chapters but not so soon.
