Dinner that night was peaceful. No disturbances, no distractions...just the two of us sharing a quiet meal. The conversation flowed easily, like it always did. And for the first time in a long while, I felt... normal with RoughCoin. And ..safe. Being around RoughCoin was becoming strangely effortless. Sure he still threw in his usual teasing remarks, but underneath all that... RoughCoin was surprisingly easy to talk to. It was almost unsettling how comfortable I had become with him.
