β˜…π•Ίπ–‘π–Žπ–›π–Žπ–† My door cracked opened, i was still on my soft and fluppy made bed rolling from one angle to the other. It was an early hours of the morning, which i expected no one in my room. who is there? I asked , still using my hands to rub my eyes off for sight clarity which bring out tear of which i know It was a usually thing, my eyes clearly opened but no answer to the question i asked. Raising up my eyelid, it is the luna of Silvermoon pack. I quickly jumped out of my bed getting towards her and i asked "mother, are you okay? I asked with my voice filled with concern. Yes i am, i only came to inform you that your brother is coming back today. Freya, the luna said . "OMG" i exclaimed joyfully. Mother, you didn't tell me this since yesterday,i said frowning my face but sided with a beam of smile. So sorry my dear Liv, i was informed yesterday night and it was late to come over to your room to inform you. "Freya whispers as her face shows remorse and her voice felt sorry, hugging me. Okay mother, so now i am going to prepare for him his favorite dishes right? I asked walking toward the furnished wardrobe with modern wooden craving. " of course Liv, you'd know what your brother likes most. the luna said, heading towards the door as she takes her leave. Well, it going to be a cooking session in full. I stated. I changed from the silken purple nightgown i wore to a jeans and tube top after having a quick warm bathe. I walked downstairs to the kitchen, " Good morning miss Olivia " the maids said in chorus. "Liora, pass me the Apron, let us begin with the cooking,I said to the chief maid. Soon, we begin the cooking in full. Even beneath the thick, stone walls of the main kitchen, the morning chill seeped, mingling with the rich, aromatic steam rising from colossal iron pots. Fires roared in deep hearths, casting flickering shadows that danced like restless spirits across the faces of the pack's dedicated cooks. Knives chopped with rhythmic precision on heavy wooden blocks, the scent of roasting meats and simmering herbs filling every corner of the vast space. Today was not merely a meal; it was a ritual, a celebration of their leader's homecoming, a symphony of preparation orchestrated by me,the Alpha sister . Every wolf in the Silvermoon Pack felt the hum of anticipation, a low, primal thrumming beneath their skin that transcended the biting air. For months, their Alpha, Ronan, Thorne, had been absent, honing his mind and instincts in ancient territories far beyond their mountain borders. His return marked a shift, a rebalancing of their world. He was the anchor, the very heart of their strength, and his presence, even before he set foot within the palatial walls, was already a palpable force. Beyond the kitchen, the palace itself, a sprawling edifice carved into the side of the highest peak, stirred with a quiet energy. Guards moved with a crisper purpose, their eyes constantly sweeping the perimeter. The air vibrated with unspoken expectations, the subtle tension of a pack awaiting its powerful, dominant leader. Mother, moved through the palace with a grace that belied her underlying excitement. Her silver eyes, sharp and intelligent, oversaw every detail, from the arrangement of the feasting tables to the burnishing of the ceremonial blades. She had missed her son, i also felt same, but more than that, We both felt the urgency of his return, the tightening knot of destiny. Verily,The pack needed its Alpha. And soon, they would need an heir. The thought, cold and firm, settled in my heart as i watched the sun begin to paint the eastern sky in hues of fiery gold, signalling the approaching dawn and, with it, the imminent return of her formidable son.
