chapter thirty nine
I pulled infront of Blake's house and kept my foot on the brake. "You aren't coming in?" He asks, grabbing his keys from him pocket. "Oh, I didn't know I was invited in." I said, putting the car in park. "You're always welcome here." He said, opening the door. "Oh. Okay." I said, pulling the keys from the ignition. I got out of the car with my bookbag and followed him up to his door. "Do you have food? Im hungry." I asked, walking in the house. "No. Ace and I eat air food." He said, sarcastically while leading me down a hall. Of course. Now I feel stupid. "Shut up." I said, frowning. He chuckled and sat at the island. "Help yourself to anything."
