chapter eleven

Blake  It's official. Ella Boyd is annoying. Yesterday, this girl had the nerve, the audacity, to throw not one, not two, but my entire pack of cigarettes off of the f*****g roof of the damn school. Who does that s**t!? Today was the third day of school, and I had football practice, but more importantly, I had to go and draw attention to little Ella as payback. Payback for basically stealing six damn dollars from me.  It's not a problem because I can easily replace those, but still. She owes me a pack of cigarettes.  I slipped on my black and white converse and grabbed my leather jacket, this one has a hood. Plus it's my favorite. I grabbed my bag and keys before heading out of my room and down the steps.  I was later leaving today then yesterday. I was late getting up as well since Ace's dumbass didn't come home last night, so I didn't have my personal alarm clock. I hopped on my bike and started the engine.  I parked in my spot which just happened to be beside of Hailee who was surrounding the front of the car with her friends. "Baby!" Hailee screamed. Before I could even get off of my bike, Hailee had her arms wrapped around me. I gently pushed her off, wanting to really just punch her. But I don't hit females. "Not now" I mumbled as I headed into the school, looking for the little nerd who is invisible in this crowd.  Nearly. Her white hair stood out as she dug around in her locker. "Ella!" I shouted, causing attention to both me and her. She quickly looked up as I walked towards her with a smirk on my face, causing her eyes to widen. I leaned by her as she stood there frozen, just staring at me. "I was wondering where you went, I woke up and you were gone. I think you left your bra though, then again, maybe that wasn't yours." I shrugged. You could just hear the whispers: She's a hoe. Why would he sleep with her? He cheated on Hailee. OMG, just wait until Hailee finds out about this. You would think he had higher standards. "I never slept with you." She angrily whispered. I chuckled, leaving a smirk on my face. "Hey you remember that last position we did? I don't remember, can you refresh my memory?" She slammed her locker with force. "I did not sleep with you, Blake!" She screamed at me. I leaned in to her ear and whispered. "You owe me a pack of cigarettes, remember that."  I backed up from her, threw her a wink and made my way down the hall. I made my way out to the back of the school where I knew Ace probably was.  And I was correct, he was sitting on the loading dock getting high. "Wass-" He cut me off. "You slept with a Boyd?" I shrugged. "You slept with Gracie." He face palmed himself as the bell rang. "That's not what I meant, I meant you slept with Ella?" I wasn't even nearly surprised by how fast this got back to him. The people at this school has nothing to do with their lives. "Nah." "But you said you did." "Yeah, I know what I said. She threw my pack of cigarettes off the roof of the school." "So you decided to embarrass her in front of the entire school?"  Ace has had a soft spot for Ella for the longest. In fact, since they were kids.  "Chill out. Everything will go away. It's not like I sent out her nudes, like you did to Hailee." I said while taking the blunt from him. He chuckled. "At least she wasn't embarrassed by it." I shook my head. "Yeah I guess." After finishing our blunt, we headed back into the school where the halls were deserted. Well, nearly.  The little white haired girl was back at her locker while mumbling to herself.  I looked at Ace. "I'll catch you in second." "Aight." He headed up the steps while I went to the right, heading to the mumbling girl. "You sound crazy" I said while standing behind her. She jumped and turned around quickly. "What do you want from me, Blake. Isn't it enough that you already embarrassed me in the entire school?" Her eyes began to water. "What's next, are you going to hit me now?" She asked in a hurt voice. She threw some folders into her locker and pulled out a English 11 textbook. "I don't hit females, Ella." I said. "But you embarrass them, right?" I got ready to reply but heard Hailee's voice. "So it's true, huh. You really cheated on me with this." Hailee said. "Hailee, I did-" Ella began but was cut off by Hailee. "Oh shut the f**k up you pathetic ass b***h! You think just because you lost all that weight and you actually look a bit nice, you can just do whatever the f**k you want? Well guess what b***h, you can't. THIS IS MY SCHOOL! You are still a pathetic loser and that's all you will ever be." Hailee said to a wide eyed Ella. "And if you think, you can sleep with my boyfriend and not get anything in return, then you have another thing coming, bitch." Hailee said. She looked at me before walking off, leaving Ella and I. "Just when I thought I would be off of the radar, here you come and mess everything up for me." She said. "You threw my cigar-" She cut me off. "THEY WERE JUST FREAKING CIGARETTES, BLAKE!" She angrily pushed her straight hair all over her head. "You could've replaced them." She then said calm. How can girls do that? Be angry one second, then nearly completely calm the next? "Yeah I could've but I didn't throw them from the damn roof. So let me be clear, until I get another pack of Newport cigarettes coming from your hands, you're going to keep getting embarrassed. Am I clear?" We were now nearly chest-to-face she she was shorter than me. "Yeah, clearly." She spat back at me. I walked off and ignored hearing her locker being slammed shut.
