The next week flew by. I hadn't left Elias or my room since returning. I was having some setbacks from training due to having some panic attacks when I got near people.
I had a routine down with Elias that we now did daily. I had just finished my hands on. I was now allowed to try and feed him two times a day, which was a progress. He still doesn't have the sucking part down without choking so we are taking baby steps. If he chokes while breast feeding, then he finishes his meal with the tube feedings. That way we know he is getting enough food during the feedings. I had just finished up when the dayshift nurse arrived to give him his daily medicine. He was currently taking probiotics to help his immune system. She would also do his vitals and draw more blood for test
