TEGAN'S P.O.V
The door slammed shut right before I could reach it. I couldn't help but feel helpless. My freedom was right there and yet, I couldn't take it. I placed my hand on the door as the shadows around me banged against the closed door.
"What happened?" I asked breathlessly.
"The gate has been opened," Trystan replied, shock evident on his face.
"But... How?"
