  EZRA'S P.O.V   As I sat there trying to process the loss of my mother, I could hear the sounds of screaming in the distance. One voice stood out more than the rest. I knew this was no time to mourn. As an Alpha, I was taught to put my emotions to the side during a time like this and deal with the problem at hand. As much as I'd rather get lost in my emotions, I knew better. If I let my guard down anymore than I already have, then I could die or worse, everyone could die. Just because I wanted to break down doesn't mean that it was the time or place. The battle still goes on without you.   "WIDOW!" I heard the voice of my mate scream.   She was nearby and it sounded like she might need my help. I looked down at my mother's face one more time before laying her body softly on the ground.
