It had been five months since both Lucy and I had come into our newfound gifts given by the Moon Goddess herself.
We had worked relentlessly on mastering these abilities so that when the time came we were ready. Lucy wasn't nearly as frightened about the underworld being released as I was but she respected my decision to keep them contained where they were.
The Moon Goddess told me we would be facing more challenges as the days progressed, as our powers manifested. She also said there would always be a need for balance in the world, but together we are the balance. I wasn't sure what she meant regarding that but took every word in nevertheless.
