Living in the shadows allowed me to see things I never would've seen if I were actually there. I didn't realize how corrupt my Kingdom really was. I thought I had taken care of the corruption when I took care of the Elders and Kirk. But here I am witnessing things I never thought I would. Especially from people I never thought would do me wrong. I sat in my office watching my best friend actively backstabbing me. The worst part was, all I could do was watch. I couldn't hit him, or even simply confront him.
