When Oglo arrived at the grand hall of the castle, the venue for our engagement party, I was too thrilled to notice the intention behind her eyes and what was going on in her mind. That was the reason I slipped from Edward's arms and rushed forwards to greet her.
"Hello Oglo! Fancy seeing you here, although I would have appreciated it if you arrived a lot earlier." I joked slightly as I hugged her. She didn't return my hug which was quite odd.
"Welcome mother" Edward greeted his mother with a smile and hugged her tightly. She wrapped her arms around him and smiled gloomily. What was up with her mood? This is supposed to be a happy occasion.
"Edward dear, I need to talk to you for a moment" Oglo brushed the hair away from his face.
"Of Course mother, we can talk in my room. Aurora, you were ready to retire for the night, right love? Let's see what mother wants to talk about and then you can have your beauty sleep. I'm sure mom would be more than happy to assist me in handling guests" Edward suggested and I nodded before Oglo started talking.
"Alone, um…I need to talk to you alone" She said while not meeting my eyes and looking everywhere but at us. This was not…normal. I hope everything is alright.
I spoke before the situation could become more awkward, "It's okay! I…I can wait here till you guys come back. Somebody needs to be here to attend to the guests too right, we can not all just go inside at the same time, right? I will rest afterwards. It's …fine" I stopped myself from babbling further.
"Uh…I guess, then we can go inside. We will be right back, love, handle the guests for me okay?" Edward squished my face in his large hands and kissed me before departing with his mother to somewhere where they could talk alone.
I looked around awkwardly before heading towards a group of witches that I used to train with. I'm sure everything is alright.

Nothing was alright and that was evident from the yelling coming from a room some hallways down. The walls of the castle were quite thick but the person yelling seemed to be too much in rage, his voice travelling hallways down and reaching the kitchen where I was standing. I had to look after the food that was going in the halls, so I came to check the staff and preparations in the kitchen.
But what I was not expecting was hearing Edward yelling. I couldn't understand what he was saying but it sounded pretty serious. The chefs and waiters looked at me funnily, probably recognizing my fiancé's voice as well. I gave them my last instructions and headed towards where the sound was coming from.
