Chapter 15

I went straight to the voice which was coming from some rooms down the kitchen, the more I went forward, the more I could hear the yelling yet it was all jumbled so I couldn't hear the voices.

I opened the door to the room where Edward and Oglo were and they immediately silenced and looked at me as they saw me enter.

"Um…I didn't mean to intrude but I heard yelling and you guys are loud, people outside can hear you" Edward's eyes widened as he asked me,

"So you heard what we were talking about? Mom, I told you to leave it! What will I tell her now?" He first addressed me, then his mom while pointing at me. His arms went everywhere in exasperation as his voice sounded pained.

I didn't feel good doing what I was about to do but this was probably the easiest way to get out about what they were talking about.

"Yes, I did hear what you guys were talking about. I…I want to know more" Even I sounded unsure to myself but it was a surprise when Edward bought my lie and approached me, taking my hands in his.

"Nothing love, it is nothing. Mom is acting crazy again. You know how she is." Edward cooed.

"I'm not acting crazy! What I say is the truth and what I say will happen!" Oglo, who was silently watching everything happen until now suddenly roared.

I pulled my hands out of Edward's grasp and went towards Oglo. I tried to take her hands into my own but she pulled them back and looked away from me. I'm sure if she was looking at me right now, she could see the hurt I was feeling.

"What happened Oglo, you can talk to me. I will give out a solution. We will solve whatever that's troubling you. But I will need details, okay?"

"There is no solution, okay! I tried and tried but there is nothing we can do! You will have to leave Edward" Half of my world crumbled down as Oglo said those words with so much conviction but half of me was still logical, so I asked,

"What?...What do you mean by that? Leave Edward? We are engaged! Do you see this ring on my finger? This is the ring your son gave to me" I showed her the ring that Edward gave me as a sign of our love. I sounded desperate as I did. Edward sighed loudly as I looked at him for confirmation that what I just heard was right. He also looked defeated. So this is why they were fighting. She wants me to leave him. But why?
