CHAPTER SIXTEEN ANDREW'S POV The music calmed me, not because it was cool and slow or relaxing like jazz music. No, it was hard and blasting from a hundred speakers, the bass echoing in my chest. I liked it that way because it was catharsis for me. The music helped me vent, mirrored my emotions and drowned me in it's loud solitude. Ace Club was more like a home for me than my real home was. I hid here when I had a lot on my mind and just needed to be alone, so naturally, no family member knew I owned this place. Macho helped me run it. He was my friend from college who dropped out because he wanted to follow his dreams of becoming a DJ. I helped him achieve that, and he brought me money from the business in return. Everyone else knew me as a VIP guest and not as the owner of the place.
